Is anyone checking out a movie this weekend?

My daughter and I went to see The Shack a couple weeks ago. It was.... interesting. Last weekend we saw Beauty and the Beast but there's nothing playing this weekend that either of us wants to see (I don't do horror flicks so she's going to see something with her friends/boyfriend this weekend). I'll stay home and maybe rent Patriot's Day from Redbox :36_1_11:
 
We are movie lovers! :)

We enjoyed The Shack, but my daughter and I had already read the book, so it was easy for us to follow. My son (he is almost 17) didn't read the book and he didn't like the movie as much as we did.

My daughter and I both loved Beauty and the Beast!!

We also saw Get Out, it was super good! If you like creepy and weird movies, it is GREAT!

We actually saw Power Rangers today, I didn't really like it. My son was excited because he used to love Power Rangers when he was little, but he thought it was pretty lame too. They kinda missed the mark, it was to immature for the older audience but I think little kids would be board too because there was a lot of emotional, character development conversations. To be honest... I did fall asleep for about 35 minutes in the middle, lol. I'm just getting over a cold and my energy is still kinda low, and I was pretty board too. LOL.

I'm looking forward to Wonder Woman though! It looks pretty cool!

Oh my, we have been movie fanatics for the past couple months! We've seen The Shack (read the book and cried multiple times during the movie), Get Out, Beauty (twice!), Logan, Rogue One...

After watching Beauty, I went on a Disney binge- Aladdin, Hunchback, Atlantis, Jungle Book, lol..

I don't really want to watch Power Rangers even though I was a big fan 20 years ago, lol. I'll wait until it comes out on DVD

I can't wait until May!!

Oh my goodness LOGAN!! It was amazing!! We loved that one so so much!!!

And yea, wait for DVD on The Power Rangers, lol :)
 
My husband and I saw Logan recently, but I didn't really care for it. I loved all the other X-Men movies, but not this one.
My daughter and I just saw Beauty & the Beast and I LOVED it! I'm looking forward to all the new Marvel & Disney films coming out this year...Wonder Woman & Pirates...We still haven't seen Moana or Rogue One, so hopefully we can rent them this weekend. Speaking of 'renting' movies...am I the only one who REALLY, REALLY misses Blockbuster?!! My husband and I joke that our kids will never know the joy of walking up the isles to pick out a movie!

I TOTALLY miss blockbuster!! The Redbox just doesn't do it for me at all!
