Insomnia!

I was up all night, not able to sleep, so I did a bunch of the challenges! Now I have reached my upload limit! Gah! Maybe I should actually, you know, get up off my butt and move around. Or take a nap. Nap might win.

I would take a nap for sure if I was you, Diane! No fun to stay up all night.. :bighug:

I'm a sufferer from insomnia - but I usually read on my phone lying in bed! I should maybe start getting up and scrapbooking!!

I am also an insomnia sufferer. Often I will organize my scrapping supplies or buy more supplies LOL when I can't sleep. Insomnia is miserable.

Hand up for the insomnia club! Long time sufferer here. When the kids were young it was a great time to get the ironing done, these days I read, or go on the internet, or create a LO or invoke my insomnia imagery ie...I am in a bedroom with a mezzanine/loft floor above, I spread a blanket on the bed and place my worries in it individually, family worries first, bundle them up in the blanket and carry it over to the stairs, count the stairs (1-10) as I climb to the loft where I place the bundle into the opened chest marked Family, close the lid and lock, then back down the stairs 10-1 and over to the bed where I repeat the process with money worries, up the stairs 1-10 and place that bundle in the chest marked "Financial", then Health, Miscellaneous etc etc. Needs concentration but the idea is that the brain gymnastics that were keeping you awake are now locked away in the chests and hopefully you are asleep before you have to do it all over again:) I once explained this to my daughter in law who is a doctor, she said a psychologist would be very interested in this imagery that I had created..I felt very important thinking a therapist might use it with clients until I had a second thought and wondered if she thought I NEEDED a psychologist
:D:D

Further to the above post and as proof that I was not telling fibs about my insomnia, it is now 2.10am Friday, I am wide awake, out of bed, playing on the computer and visiting GS. I have been asleep only to be awakened an hour ago by the extreme heat we are experiencing here at the moment (it is currently 25 degreesC/77degreesF after a maximum of 41C during the day!!!) I am ready to move to the northern hemisphere!!!

Lol, I hear you Jill... today is the first cooler day for a while.. and then back up again through the week.
Love your story about how to get yourself back to sleep... I may ummm... steal this idea at some stage ;)

and Diane my friend.. love the layouts you do when you up and about in the middle of the night, ;) xx

I constantly have it. So now I just stay up until I am sleepy. I feel it's better than laying in bed listening to the clock dong every thirty minutes.
