I'm Coming Back

Gmas Babies

Hi everyone

Not sure if many remember me or not, but my name is Gmas Babies aka Lori P. I used to hang out here a lot. I lost my mojo and went through a lot of things in my personal life so I dropped all of my CT duties except for 1 (at another store) and let me tell you that's been a struggle at times too.

I will refresh your memories. I am married, have 3 kids and 7 grandkids. It should be though, 5 kids and 5 grandkids as we have custody of 2 of our grands. A lot has happened since I was here last, but my biggest challenge is that I am now writing a book or trying to at least. I think I want to title it, Love, Mom.... Daily notes from Mom. These stem from sticky notes I leave in the kids' lunch boxes every day they are in school. I have hundreds of them and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with them but I knew I didn't want to just throw them away.

Hubby and I own our own business. We manufacture Fire Retardant Chemicals that will help prevent many items in your home and exterior of your home, from sustaining a fire. Its a very good business and one that has allowed us to purchase a home July of 2016 and more recently 42 acres with a home and an inherited horse and donkey as well, a few months ago.

Any way, I have found my way home and plan on getting involved here again. I hope to chat with y'all again soon.

You are a WONDERFUL scrapper. I can see why you were part of the creative team. Your layouts are inspirational. I wasn't around when you were last here, but your layouts are just lovely. I hope you get your mojo soon and fill the galleries with amazing stuff. Just in case you have forgotten your way around, here are a few links to stuff you might need...

Take a look at our great freebies in the GingerScraps Welcome Wagon Thread. Maybe there are some new things you don't already own.

If you are having trouble getting around the site, or posting, check the Forum and Gallery Rules and Questions. Things may have changed since you last posted.

If you need help right away, post something in the help forum. Hopefully someone will see it pretty quickly and get back to you:

News, announcements, sales are always important! You don't want to miss our sales when you are building your stash of Gingerscraps products, although you probably have a ton!

Tutorials are really useful and can help you through the learning curve, or encouraging you to try new cool stuff. There are all kinds of things to help you along.

Challenges are a great way to get some scrapping done.

And... don't underestimate the power of getting to know people, or reacquainting yourself with people you knew back when - pop into the Everyday chatter forum and jump in!

Best of all, you can bookmark your welcome thread and you will always have this to refer to :)

Thank you for the reply. I will definitely keep tabs on this thread because I surely have forgotten a lot of stuff.

I remember you! Great to have you come back! and your book sounds wonderful to me!! I sometimes wish I was more diligent to leave my kiddos notes in their back packs :) I also love what you've said about your new home and acreage, where is it located?!
