Here I am, without the attention span to read all of the comments. hehe, so if I repeat please forgive me. I'm one of the oddballs that did Survivor once, couldn't handle the pressure and stress, et. al. (always wanted to use that). I only did it that one year. I'm not a prolific scrapper, although I'm trying to remedy that a bit. It does put more pressure on the cookies, especially those that participated, with all of the extra commenting; but that was a personal decision for them, so I wouldn't use it as a reason not to do Survivor. I don't know HOW you managed all of that for so many years, I would have burned out a long time ago. I'm so not competitive, so imho something that is fun, without pressure, would be way more inviting to me. There is sooooo much talent on this site; maybe something less competitive would be less intimidating to the less experienced? So I'm not a chit chatterer in forums other than the cookie chat, so I can't speak to retention in forums. If my American Express bill for the last few months is any indication, the lack of Survivor wouldn't affect my spending habits. New buffet, $2 Tuesday, and $2 Groundhog Day kind of broke the bank for me.hehe This is just off the top of my head, as I told Ginger in the cookie thread, air is thin up there.
