Pictures....hehe, get your minds out of the gutter, haha!!

I am hooked on scrapping big pictures, sometimes alone or add a smaller one as an accent.

How about you? Do you guys scrap big pictures? If so, let's see them!

Em you are too funny! I've been noticing some of your LO's recently with large photos on them. I too like 'big' pictures along with multiple photos on the page.
Here are some recent "big" I scrapped.

thanks em, that is one of my favorite songs...swell!.....now i am singing it and doing the cabbage patch dance..I
too, mostly work big fotos

my daughter, her hubs and their babies(please keep her in your thoughts as she is deploying
to Afghanistan in a couple of months)

I forgot about that one Em! Here is the page I did.
This was a big gift bag.

Oh Em! You totally cracked me up!! It depends on what I'm scrapping, if its a photoshoot or something I'll choose my fave and do that big, with others around it, I RARELY scrap just one by itself!!

Hesitant to post (products not from here) so slap me if I'm not okay, but I just enjoy community.
I'm always paranoid of doing something wrong, but the reason I come here rather than other places is Ginger let's me be me and doesn't see me as marketing like other sites (which I'm not!). I just want to fit in like others. Anyway....

All the last ones I did were big photos, so this thread caught my eye!

I have a hard time making my photos small. I have this thing in my head that if I am going to pay for printing (or utilize pixel space), it should mostly be for my photo and journaling.

Here's a few.

These look great Hummie. I'm happy you shared.

Another reason I like pics large [besides poor eyesight] is IF I have a camera with large pixel capability, by golly I want to see'em.

Michelle, most of my photos now are taken with my cell phone!

In fact, those in those layouts are with my cell phone. I have them auto uploading to Flickr and then I go there to grab the photos to scrap with.

I cannot always do well in bad lighting situation, but most time, I've snapped a good enough photo to scrap the story.

I LOVE big photos on layouts! I've noticed you've been using them a lot lately, Em, and I have been all up in your gallery commenting on it LOL!

Hummie, those are great, thanks for sharing!! You do a great job with journaling...and camera phone!!

Thanks, Christina! I think my layouts are all starting to look the same, lol...
that's why I need more inspiration, lol....

I like this one! Can we go there now? It's so rainy and cold and yucky here today!
I like the use of the cards... so clean and crisp.
we can go there when i know there are no more earthquakes being felt in Key West...lol

oh my goodness..and look how cute you are!..previously, all I ever saw of you were your shoes....lol

lol I'm not really cute... rather large actually! I just thought everyone knew what I looked like. I've been in the digiworld since 2005 and my face seems to have been everywhere. I even did two live chats last week and you can see my face for two whole hours on youtube... ack! Don't like to do that, but trying to make myself!

I do like big pictures! I've been very into them all summer and through fall. My camera is pretty old now, though, about 6-7 years, so it's pretty hard for me to get something good and sharp enough to make big. I did have several big ones in my Christmas gift photobook. And I'm working on a layout now that's full-length.

You might already know that I love big pictures! Especially pictures of landscapes like mountains and water. These are my favourites.

Thank you everyone, very inspirational!! LOVE how even though with the large photo, you guys still rock the clusters....LOVE it!!! I may just lift some of these!!!

You all crack me up! Except for putting that song in my head...oh I thought I was so cool-lol! I usually don't scrap big photos, cuz I'm more into getting as many as I can on a lo, but when I do I really like the way it turns out! And you've inspired me to do more, so thanks :) I just did this one w/ a M&M temp--miss her alrdy :(

Wow what a question (LOL) I was wondering what the thread might be about =)
Yes I LOVE big photos! Here are a couple of my layouts using BIG PHOTOS!

LOL Em! :hysterical: I love big photos, but I don't seem to get enough with my point and shoot-which is on its deathbed :( Maybe I need to get a DSLR?! These are a few of my favorites:
This one was actually taken on my daughter's iphone. It's not bad for a phone camera photo:

I love this one of my 99 year-old grandpa and his great-grandkids:

This was a big one for me in helping me process the loss of our home:

Another in the healing process-losing a dear friend:

To end on a positive note, this is one of many from my daughter's sweet 16 party. I still have TONS to scrap from this...and they're all from the professional photographer, so they are perfect for large photo layouts!

Singin' the song now hehe

I'm a sucker for big pages and you gals are rockin' them! Gorgeous! Here's one I did of my oldest son's birthday:
