I am a "sucker" for . . .

I just realized that there are some kits that I am a sucker for. It doesn't matter that I already have 6 of that same theme or that I don't currently have pictures for it. I just have to get it. My list is not short: Books, Food, Nightmare Before Christmas/Haunted Mansion, Carsland themed, Mary Poppins, Star Wars, Alice in Wonderland (most Disney - let's just be honest), Lego, Happy, Rain/Clouds?Weather, Theater, Airplanes, - there are probably more.
Right now, I keep looking for more Hawaii kits, even though I have 14 hehe

Do you have any themes/styles/kit types that you just HAVE to get??

Colours grab me first, I will buy a kit simply because I like the colours rather than its theme, but the themes that I DO look for (and seem to collect:))are sporty, fishing, country, Australia, teenage, boy, masculine, craft........

Lately it's been cat themed ones since our Jinx is my favorite thing to photograph.
I am always on the look out for anything that I can use for my NASCAR pages since I have like thousands and thousands of those. I take about 4K each race we go to and I attend a lot.
Scout kits, I'm all over them. I have a lot of pics of my Boy Scout and his 10 years in scouting.

I am in a buying freeze (have been for the past year really) but I do get tempted by a good beach kit, travel kits, and an awesome summer kit. Oh and a good teen kit but those are pretty much nonexistent.

Baseball is my go too. And after looking at my collection I seem to have a lot of Zoo kits. I think they come with so much you can use with other things that I keep getting them. And camping kits.

Pretty much any cat / feline kit is a must-have, even though I already have plenty! Similarly any running kit, especially distance running (i.e. half-marathons and marathons). Strangely enough, as a dietitian I don't have a lot of food-related kits, mainly because I hate the emphasis on weight loss and measurement that many "diet" kits have - I'm a firm believer in Health at Every Size (and if you've seen my layout for the last week of the most recent survivor you'll understand why), while still eating healthy (most food kits seem to emphasize either dieting or what could be considered "unhealthy" foods - I need healthy foods without the emphasis on dieting, as we know from research that diets don't work).

Most of the travel kits out there don't meet my needs (I need kits for ancient Egypt, ancient Rome, "old" Europe, etc.) so although I have YEARS of travel photos to scrap, a lot of them haven't been yet! Similarly, most of the scouting kits don't meet my needs as I was a Girl GUIDE for many years, and most kits are for scouting not Guiding, and they are different!

Oh, and I pretty much buy any Canadian-themed kit that I can find, unless it gets things totally wrong (for example there is a Canadian kit at another digital scrapbooking store that has the Canadian flag TOTALLY wrong, so I refuse to buy the kit because of that. I mean, can you imagine buying a USA-themed kit if the American flag in it was wrong? No, right? So why should Canadians have to put up with an incorrect flag!)

I also tend to pick up any hunter/jumper or dressage riding / horse kit that I see, as too many horse-related kits are Western-themed, and I've always been a hunter/jumper or dressage rider.

I always love it when a designer opens up for ideas and then picks something more obscure instead of kits that already exist.
Maybe the designers will read this thread and start creating from it
*hint, hint
hehe

I can relate!!

Boy themes always get me (boy colors and themes). Also OuterSpace and Fish (my boy's interests. I might have every rocket kit that exists!! hehehehe

Beach, Christmas and winter. I am always looking for farm, rodeo, or 4-H, since so many of my photos involve these topics, but there isn't much available in those.

Oh my gosh, so many.....

beach, travel, cats, "all about me" kits, any kit that is mostly blue. Christmas kits, foodie kits, any kit that mentions selfies. Everyday life kits that work with PL.....

Beach, summer, brighter colored kits. I really don't work well with muted and pastel colors but the brighter and more fun the better. Disney theme (for that trip we take every 4-5 years LOL!)

i envy you. My husband and I have loved NASCAR for years, never had the chance. Now my driver is retired. :(

The kits I will always grab and never pass on is Canadian themed one, never ever enough of those, and ones I can use for car shows, car cruise ins. And those are few and far between. My favourite colour Blue means I have numerous blue kits even though I have lots I need more because there is never quite the right shade of blue.

I CAN NOT pass up football, baseball, basketball, camping, food, cat, policeman, fireman and summer kits.

I am a sucker for beach themed kits and Star Wars kits and boy kits...and I LOVE the wood papers in kit. I have tied to slow down on my kit buying, but sometimes I feel like I need to have it. LOL..I would like to see more kits on rabbits and arts & crafts and on invisible disabilities
