How's Your Mojo?

Mine has been ebbing and waning lately! I'm doing the Month of Challenges at another forum, and it's really causing me to move out of my box! It's great, but difficult. It's getting my MOJO going again after the holiday scrapping where it just felt like I was cranking them out to keep up.

What do you do when your MoJo isn't there?

Me:
Scraplift
buy a new kit
browse the gallery and pick a style I'm not used to and try to replicate it
Watch Youtube videos

I am just getting back into scrapbooking after no scrapping for two solid years so my mojo is decent right now. I completed 10 challenges for January and now I’m kinda waiting for February’s challenges I guess.. I love to look at page sketches for inspiration!

I took a two year hiatus, then came back with a real thirst to learn about photoshop. When I'm struggling with a LO/mojo, I watch a vid and try to learn new techniques. Buying a new kit also seems to satisfy me.

My mojo is so-so. I've been busy with other things so I haven't gotten around to scrapping this month yet. Susan, I think I will try some of your methods! I have to get my messed-up Paypal account sorted out anyway.

My mojo is floundering a bit. The Photos app on my Mac is driving me nuts and making things more difficult to scrap. Usually scrolling through my photos gives me a spark of creative energy. Challenges definitely help too!

Mine is so-so...just have not had alot of time to scrap lately. Love to watch videos and of course browse the gallery here and other forums I frequent.

Where oh where is my mojo!?!! I've had some health issues and my furbaby just had major surgery with 6 weeks healing and it looks like she may have messed up the other leg. We'll find out Monday.
I need to do some searching on pinterest or something. Feeling pretty bummed right now.

After scrapping for 10 years now, I find that my mojo comes and goes every few months...and that's okay with me now. When I really want to get back into scrapping, but don't have mojo, I jump in by doing challenges in conjunction with making a list of things I want to scrap. I feel like I just need direction and then it gets me back into it. I've been away from scrapping for months, but got going again at the start of January. I made a list of what I wanted to scrap...P52 for 2019 and concentrating on my 18-year-old daughters scrapbook that I want to give her when she moves. It works for me!

In January, I accomplished so much, I feel like I am setting myself up to disappoint with February. I have a lot of materials to work with, in terms of kits and photographs, so I should be okay there, but I do feel like with a house guest I will be much less inclined to keep myself hitting my creative goals, and worse, that I will definitely make another 1,000+ photographs from our travels which I won't get scrapped in until 2030. Lol.

When I find myself stalling, I look at galleries for inspiration or seek out challenges which kind of give me a kick start or an inspiration point, which then makes it easier to keep rolling.

I keep going because I want to do a layout a day. Sometimes when company comes or I go away, I have to get caught up. I try to also take at least one photo a day, so I have something for the layout.
