how do you save your page?

Hi! I am looking for a way to save my pages and make them look a little crisper...I currently use an action but it doesn't seem as clear as I want it to.

From the 3600 x 3600 . I save as Tiff.
Then: File > save as> jpg and save at a '12'...and the top dot ticked. That's the one I print.

For web. Merge layers. Image resize... 600. File >export legacy.

Before I add shadows and other final crafting, I save as a psd, so if I need to change something later, I can. Then I save it at 3600x3600 as a jpeg. Then I resize it to 600x600 in a little program called IrfanView. It sharpens as it resizes and looks pretty good.

I use photoshop & save all my layouts full size at 300dpi in psd format
This can make the files huge but there are some really great tools to help reduce the filesize once you are done

I tend to put the layout together how I want & save the final psd, then got to file > export > save for web(legacy)
I make sure the file type is jpg & it is set to maximum then in the size I reduce the file to 600x600 pixels to fit the gallery. Most of the time it shows this is under the kb allowed for the GS gallery & then I hit save but sometimes if the kb is over just reduce the quality percentage a little.
There is probably another way to do it but this works for me - hope it helps

For me, after I resize my LO to 600x600 in 72ppi, I use the high pass process to make it look a little crispy. I have a blog post tutorial here, but here's the process:

1. After resizing to 600x600 px in 72ppi, duplicate your layer.
2. Click on the top layer to highlight it, go to Filter - Other - High Pass.
3. Reduce the Radius to 0.3 it will make your top layer gray, don't worry it's normal.
4. Now still in the highlighted layer, click the Blending Mode, from the drop down choose Linear Light, this will make your top layer visible again.
5. Now you can save your layout for gallery posting.

Hope this helps.

I first save in full size as a jpeg for printing. Then I resize to 700x700, 72 dpi. I ctrl+j to duplicate the layer, then I go to filter, sharpen, unsharp mask. I typically set it around 15 or so, but I adjust based on how the layout looks, making sure I'm viewing it at 100% to see it accurately. Then I go to file, export, save for web (legacy) and slide the slider up top right till the file size is just under 250.

I've been doing it this way for quite some time and it always makes my layouts look so much better in the gallery.
