How did the first day go?

For those who have started school, how did everyone's first day go?

I love looking at my FB feed that day and seeing everyone's first day photos, thought I'd check in here too and see how it's going...

I loved seeing the first day pics too. I still the pic of the 'real' first day to go for my older grandson. The little one hasn't started yet [Sept 3].
Older DGS- had a successful day. Fifth grade and first time in public school.
