How can I use glitters in PaintShop Pro?

Several of the kits I've bought recently have had Photoshop "styles" in them. I don't think there's an easy way to use them in PSP, since they have in-built 3D effects, but with glitter styles, is there any way I can make glitter papers out of them in PSP? I love glitter papers, and it saddens me when they're included in a kit, but in a format that I can't use. Can every program except PaintShop Pro use these asl files?

I started out in PSP but it has been years. I noticed one of the kits I just recently purchased had 600x600 PNG files of the glitter in the layer style folder. Could you possibly use them as a pattern tile to make your papers? I think I used to do patterns in PSP.

Yes, I can, if they have the glitters in seamless png or full-size jpeg forms, then it's all good and I can use them (and I'm very grateful when the designers include those options). Some of the kits only have them in asl formats though, or very small pngs that aren't seamless, so I was hoping there was a way I might be able to use those.

you can make the pattern seamless in the Menu-Effects ( in german - Bildeffekte )
when done you can safe them in the Pattern Folder from your PSP

asl (Adobe Style Layers) is not compatible with any paintshop can't be used in other software.
you can import the gradients (gdr), the brushes (abr) but not the styles& it seems to me that neither for the patterns (pat)
