.... spending YOUR mothers' Day?

It is Mothers' Day right now here in Australia and I will be spending it very quietly at home...we have two families living locally and they will both call in at some time during the day. Nothing planned so they may turn up at the same time or they may not. Our other family lives in Melbourne which is 12 hours away so a phone call will happen probably this evening. Hubs has just brought me a nice cuppa (but he does that every morning anyway). He will cook dinner this evening (which will probably mean a takeaway, bless him:)) What will your day entail?

Today was my nieces's birthday so we're celebrating that today but I honestly have NO idea what we're doing for Mother's Day yet. I know that we will go to Church in the morning and we will probably to go lunch after that with the family...
Otherwise I hope it's a low key day. I have some laundry to catch up on! ;)
 
I went grocery shopping in the morning and then swung by my parents' for a few minutes to give my mom her annual plant hanger. Then my daughter took me to the movies (Guardians of the Galaxy) and then we came home and cooked supper.
 
I actually pretty much just relaxed!! My kids and I all went to the pool at the Y for a couple hours, and aside from that, I worked on scrapping, crafting, and extracting stuff in PS. It was a VERY fun day! Oh, and I got a nice big box of chocolates to snack on which is fun. :)
