since I just started doing Digi I have been wanting to try to blend. I couldn't find any tutorials that I could totally understand. I played around with bits and pieces of what I have watch and read. It is done and I am not sure if it is ok what I need to do. please any honest opinions since this is new to me. it just looks so "faded" to me. but then I have cataracts and everything looks faded right now until I get surgery.

Well, I guess I will be the first response. To me, it looks a bit faded too. But some of that may be because I love bright bold color on my pages.

I like the effect you are going for though.

Thank you for responding to this. I need feedback. I thought it was too faded too, but I couldn't get a happy medium. Does that make sense? I guess I will have to practice. I wish someone would explain it to me in an easy way. I have watch and read a whole lot of tutorials, but still don't know what I am doing. I know what you mean about bright. almost of of my lo are bery bright too!!

An effective result when you want to use a blended/faded photo technique, is to add a full opacity smaller version of the faded photo somewhere else on the page. This gives a purpose to having a faded focal photo IMHO. It all depends on the look that you are striving for. Hope that helps:) Off topic, I like how you siggie is wearing sunnies:)...very cool.

THANKS jILL!!! I Need feedback being a newie and learning all this stuff. I am going to go back and open this up and try that!! Yea I just could't figure out what to do with those sunglasses and I wanted to use them! LOL
