Hi all, first of all my name is really Margaret, but these days I go by the name Bubby, strange maybe but my Husband in his infinite wisdom virtually from day one we met started calling me Bubby Pet Grub, and over the years it kind of stuck and I love it, so much so if I do get called Margaret, I am like hey that's me, even from when I was little no one ever called me by my full name, so I guess half the time I forget my name really is Margaret. My hubby knows if he ever did call me Margaret he has not got much chance of me replying. Anyway that said I have been scrapbooking for years, but up until maybe 2 years ago I never posted anything basically because I thought my work was not good enough until a lady came into my life and convinced me otherwise. I love doing challenges sometimes it takes me out of my comfort zone which is a good thing. Hopefully I can get the hang of posting, please if you find I have posted wrong anyone please jump in and tell me. I have read the rules it is just knowing where to put certain layouts could be my down fall so please bear with me. Bubby

Welcome to another Aussie, Bubby, i call my youngest daughter Bubby or Bub, a pet name given to her from the day she was born three years after her brother and 4 after her sister. This is a great place to call your digi home, I look forward to seeing your LOs in the gallery. You have made a great start with your siggie.

Welcome! I love the story of how you got your nick name! My hubby calls me "kitten"... he's the only one because I really don't identify as a kitten, but I love it when he calls me that because he's so sincere about that term of endearment. <3

Hi!
My name is Eileen. I am a retired music teacher. My hubby and I moved from one of the northern US states to live in a warmer climate in the southern portion of the USA.
I am PSE scrapbooker. I still label myself as a "Beginner+".
I make 12x12 pages for my church for members and visitors to see the activities that take place during each year.
I as challenged by my adult daughter to try PSE scrapbooking techniques. My pages turn out OK, but I haven't ventured much beyond "Beginner +" level.
I look forward to learning many now ideas and trying them out.

Hi Eileen, Welcome to Gingerscraps, so lovely to see you here. Just a heads up...you might like to create your own individual post in the Welcome Thread, go here https://forums.gingerscraps.net/forumdisplay.php?11-Welcome!-Introduce-Yourself-Here! and click on Post New Thread. The thread you have posted in is part of that posted by another new member, your post is getting a bit lost here. You should get more welcome replies if you create a thread of your own. Hope to see your LOs in the gallery soon. Dont forget to check out the Welcome Wagon for some freebies.

Welcome Bubby. That is the cutest name your hubby gave you. I hope you enjoy it here and get involved in the challenges. Don't ever think your layouts are not good enough. They are your art the way you see it. Have fun and nice to meet you.

Loved the story of your nickname! Have fun with challenges and, of course, building up your stash in the store :)
