I'm not really new here--I posted a picture to a challenge in 2012! I have been active at Gotta Pixel since about the same time, maybe earlier. This last year has seen little scrapping as I was taking care of my husband who passed away from Parkinson's Disease this fall. Very demanding job, and I am enjoying my freedom, but it is bittersweet. I need to make up for lost time, as 2 years ago I started making photo albums for our kids and grandkids as Christmas gifts, and that didn't happen this year. Full steam ahead! Glad to see so many Gotta Pixel scrappers and designers here.
 
Hi Kathi! I was pretty active at GP too, but GS is my scrap "home"! You will love all the fun challenges here as well as the scrap community. I'm sure you may 'see' some familiar faces.

I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. My late grandmother lost her battle with Parkinson's a few years ago, too. I miss her every day. SHe was my rock.

Can't wait to see some grandbaby LOs! Welcome to GS!
 
Hi, Kathi. I considered GottaPixel my "home", but Ginger Scraps was always a close second. A LOT of names will be familiar to you. So - welcome to your new home.

Thanks Lynn and everybody. The grandbaby of the grandkids turned 11 this fall, but occasionally I come across a darling picture I just have to record for posterity! The other 4 are all teens now! 2 daughters have the 5 between them.

Love that there are so many of the GP designers here, too, and the members, too. Good to "see" you here too.
