Happy New Year!
I’ve been away for many years and the software sure has changed! I’m here for learning and inspiration.

Search engines aren’t leading me to any useful tutorials for Photoshop 2025 on a macOS (NOT elements). Anyone have a clue to drop? I’m trying to use a layered template (psd).
 
Jolyn, This video HERE may be helpful for you. The newest version of Photoshop should be the same as older ones for using templates - adding a photo or paper above a layer then clip that to the layer below etc.
 
Hello and welcome back! :) I haven't noticed much of a change between the 2024 and 2025 photoshop editions, so the tutorials for 2024 should still work well in the 2025 edition. I create clipping masks using my (alt on Windows / option on Mac) button, hovering over between the two layers (the layer I want to clip, and the base layer) and click when the cursor changes shape. Hope this helps a little!
