I'm back on an old computer and I'm realizing that I've lost the actions for my drop shadows. Needless to say, I'm a complete IDIOT when it comes to making my own drop shadows... Please don't tell!!

I have Flergs free drop shadows, Katie Pertiet's from Designer Digitals... But the one set I want the MOST???? Traci Murphy's shadow actions!! So... what is the problem, you might say?? Well, I can't seem to find her in any stores out there (she used to be at Funky Playground)...

Does anyone know if she is still selling somewhere?? Maybe somewhere her drop shadow action may be available (not pirated, but on her blog or personal store)??

If not, can anyone send me in the right direction to a new designer so that I can get easy drop shadows back??? I printed out a short tutorial I found, but I don't think I have quite the patience to do that to each of my layers.

If you look in my siggie, you can see my DESPERATE need for drop shadow actions!!! LOL! I think it looks HORRIBLE!!!

Since we are on the topic of actions...especially shadows...I am hopeful to get my PSE installed when we get back from vacation. (Missi I will finally have time to learn it then!!! LOL) Can you all tell me what actions are must haves and steer me to where I might purchase them? Thanks in advance!!
 
I use PSE6 mostly, but also have PSCS3. I want to upgrade, but don't know when I'll have the funds.

Char- Does your actions work both in PSE and PS?
 
Francine- I use an action from Paint the Moon on EVERY layout I do... It's her "Resize for Web" action. AWESOME. Absolutely AWESOME.
 
I'm like 95% sure Chars work in both PSE and CS.
I like having a variety of shadow styles... but I use Char's set most often than any others. :)
 
Thanks for your help everyone!! As soon as I get PSE installed and figure out how you even use an action I will buy Chars!
I want to find one for doing 3d work..like fantasy pages..someone is standing so the shadow needs to fall downwards...KWIM??

I don't think you would be able to find a shadow action for those type of shadows, because they go off individual cut outs of the elements you want to shadow, and not just a standard shape.... but if you find one, let me know, because mine take FOR-EV-ER to do....
