Girl, I feel you! If it weren't for getting a new cat, I would have almost no photos the past couple of months.
My old standby's for when I can't think of anything are....
Family selfies and pet photos
What we're eating
What we're reading/ watching/ listening to
Get a family member to send pictures from their work or school day
The weather outside
Seasonal milestones like turning on the heat for the first time
Screenshots of text messages
Groceries on the counter or what your fridge looks like
Pictures of a routine, like what do you do each morning, etc.
Take photos of the inside of your house (I've lived in 3 different places since I started PL and these are fun to look back on)
I know these kinds of everyday photos can feel kind of boring, but they're so interesting to look back on.
Another thing you might try, but this can also be kind of sad, so it might not be good for right now, is to look back at your old PL pages and make a list of ideas from that. Has anything changed with over time, or seasonally? Are you decorating or cooking differently? Maybe recreate some of your older photos to show how things have changed. But if you think looking back at happier times might be sad, forget all of the above![]()
On Facebook there is a site called Shoot It: 365 Photo a Day Challenge. I did a it for two years and is quite fun. It gives you ideas for each day to take a photo of. It also helps learn new photo skills.
