Help with Photoshop?

Hey every one so part on my "getting back into the swing of things" has brought me to Photoshop CS6 a dear friend of mine gave it to me a wile ago but i have been using Corel PSP X7 for the longest time, now i have installed the Photoshop CS6 and i am just sitting here with a un nerving feeling saying "now what" it looks so similar to Paint shop pro BUT it sure does not work the same, I almost feel like i'm going to break something simply by choosing the wong thing..... could some one maybe help me get some confidance with Photoshop please?
 
A search on You Tube is a GREAT resource for tutorials with Photoshop. I also use CS6 and it took me a while to not be super frustrated with it lol.

I am on my phone right now, so I am not able to point you to any good tutorials or info, but hopefully I will remember when I get to my desktop!
 
I used PSP for many years and now I use PSCS5. Loved both of them but there are definitely more tuts and resources out there for photoshop than there are for PSP which was why I made the change. I can't help you with CS6 but like Michelle said above, Youtube has some great tuts and Google is your friend:) Good luck:)
 
Thank you so much for your input, yes my frusteration level is rising but i am figureing it out on my own (definately taking baby steps) I am actually Currently organizing the scraps i have (finally found my acdsee ultimate 10) and I am taking a "break" sall we say, any ways thank you again and i hope you have a wonderful day/night
