HELP with FONT

tool in PSE 7 yes 7..lol Hey if it ain't broken My laptop is running Windows 11 I usually have not problems with pse but after an update about a month ago I have this problem when I go to use the font took I get this HUGE line and when I type in my title or journaling it is way off the page I have to make my page view so small and then try to drag the font up onto my layout. While I am typing I can not see what I am typing and it goes not let me edit only the last line of what I have typed or I am able to add onto it. I have some screen shots don't know if they will load into this post but I will try. Help me please before I pull out all of my hair this is so frustrating I don't even like to use the tool anymore.

The black paper in my background paper....see how far down the test box is and no text shows until I have to enlarge it and try to drag it up onto my paper. The tool line I get is bigger than the paper see in this photo I have typed some journaling and it does not show on the paper put see how HUGE the font tool line is?

Did you make sure that when you open a page it is the correct size and settings? Sometimes updates change things like that.
Also I'm sure you already tried closing the computer down totally and restarting. Another option is to uninstall and reinstall if you still have problems.

I finally found a tutorial for elements and got it fixed now don't know how I ever ended up like that to begin with....thanks so much for trying to help me out.
