Help Please....PSE 10 to PSE 14 or 15????

I need to chat with someone that has used pse10 and pse14.
I'm doing a trial with pse15 and i hate it.
It is not user friendly.
I want to know if 14 is the same look, feel and format as 10?
 
I think each one has a learning curve but I love 14. I have had each one as they have come out but I do like 14 an will probably get 15
 
I just switched from 9 to 15. I read a blog that helped me a lot. Once I figured out to get rid of the smart object and that you have to hold your layer over the top of the old one you want to add instead of dragging and dropping and lastly to create a clipping mask it is control, alt, G instead of control g. It is getting better.
 
Sorry, I'm no help; I still use 11 and have no desire to upgrade :D. I hate change and I'm satisfied with 11 - LOL.
 
Thanks Katherine for the screen shot. It's just like 15. from what I can see. I love 10. My only issue with it is loading the styles. this is the only reason I want to upgrade. If I could upload my styles to 10 I would never change either.
Anyone able to help me there. I have tried all the things that people have shared and nothing has worked, lol.
 
im a pse 10 user - starting with pse 11 they changed the interface and its just awful - tried pse 14 used it for one day and back to 10 for me.

totally agree with you about being user unfriendly - and everything takes extra steps too.

while new features are great it s not worth the interface

I am hoping with pse 16 there will be new and useable interface - based on history new interface was pse 6 than pse 11.

it seems like i may be stuck wiht pse 10 forever.

See, I didn't think there was much of a learning curve going to 11 from 9 and I love 11 and have no desire to upgrade from there unless the day comes when I absolutely have to :D
 
I love 10 and told hubby I didn't want to upgrade at all. Do you load styles in 10 and if so how?

no you cannot - loading styles and actions on the fly started with pse 11

however there are 2 addons you can buy that give increase functionality and i think that is one of things they do.

https://elementsplus.net/ - only $12 but heard interface is not very friendly ( tried demo which was crippled years ago and i did not like it - been meaning to try it again)

https://thepluginsite.com/products/elementsxxl/index2.htm this one is $49 but supposedly pretty easy to use . have not tired it but have heard good things about it.

both have demos and list of what they add - be sure to match your pse version.
 
I have PSE 12 (for Mac) and I quite like it. The interface is definitely radically different from earlier versions of PSE, but I found that once I had created a couple of layouts, I was used to it.
