I started a GoFundMe page for a dear friend of mine. Sheri just got out of a 10-day hospital stay and I'm so worried about the shower of bills that's about to fall on her!

She works full time, usually overtime every week, has insurance and gets disability after 5 days in the hospital, but that disability is less than half her regular check. She lives alone so the shortened paychecks will have to pay all the bills that didn't go away while she was in the hospital plus everyday stuff now that she's home like groceries. Add to that the huge bill for the whole year's deductible and out of pocket max all at once.
I set a lofty goal amount but every bit helps. She is an incredibly giving person and I'd write the check for the full amount myself if I wasn't afraid of it breaking a window when it bounced. If you can spare any bit to the campaign to make the out-of-hospital-pain just a little less, I'd greatly, greatly appreciate that.
I was planning to start my MS fundraising this month, but it totally takes a backseat to this. Sheri is one of the people who pushes my wheelchair when she comes to visit. If it was a choice between reducing Sheri's stress and a cure for myself, I'd keep the wheelchair to be able to have a happy Sheri to push it any day.
