Hi everyone! I'm beckie. I was an avid paper scrapper turned digi scrapper in 2009. I got into photography around that same time and love being able to create such meaningful memories for my family! I digi scrapped until around 2014 or so and then life got in the way and I had to take a break. we moved, I had a job that required extensive travel, younger kids, etc. Anyhow, life is awesome and SIMPLE again and I have time to pick up what I missed so much over the past few years - digi scrapping! I started backup again in July and I've done about 80 pages since!

Good news is that I have YEARS of unscrapped photos to work with!

Anyhow, i live in Texas, have two awesome kiddos (daughter Piper is 14, son Lawson is 11) and an amazing hubby named Mike. And we have four cats and two guinea pigs lol.

I only recently found gingerscraps when I started an IG account for scrapbooking and started following other scrappers there (I'm beckie_scraps on IG!) I see so many beautiful and inspirational kits and LOs here!!

ALso - you guys have the absolute best welcome - that whole welcome wagon section - WOw!

anyhow, hello! I look forward to getting to know you guys better.
 
Welcome Beckie, looking forward to seeing your layouts and photos... you are going to love it here, if you like to do challenges, head over and check out those, we have a lot of them, but they are so much fun, I never get them all done but I sure like trying... LOL hope to see you around a lot... just have FUN!

I remember you from "before"! It was probably a different store...but in the 2009 - 2012 years. I was "g8rbeckie" most places back then. SSD maybe? who knows, I can't even remember the names of the stores that have closed since then. Anyhow, nice to see you again!

Welcome to GS. I took a 7 year break in digiscrapping and found my way here because my previous favorite sites had closed down. Have been very happy here. Just curious- I am not familiar with IG - could you enlighten me?
 
I see you are already filling our gallery with lovely layouts. I, too, am a paper scrapper who loves Digi. I actually still paperscrap quite a bit.

Challenges are a great way to get some scrapping done.

And... don't underestimate the power of getting to know people - pop into the Everyday chatter forum and jump in!
