You guessed it, southerner here! I'm from Kenner, La, about 13 1/2 miles away from New Orleans. I've been scrapping for a long time, but got out of it a few years back when my computer just went out on me. My lovely daughter and son-in-law gave me a 'new to me' computer! She was given her old computer from work, had my ex clean it up and and surprised me on Christmas last year with it. It took time for me to learn it, still learning, last I did was I believe was Windows 8 and now I'm on Windows 10? WOW what a change!!!

Anywho, I'm a Mom to 2 girls and a son, and have 3 grandsons and 2 step grandsons....still waiting on that grand daughter!! I'm engaged to the love of my life, my soulmate, since 2006....start laughing because yes I'm nervous to take the plunge again. I'm a Pet Stylist, actually just dogs, been grooming since 2007, it is my passion! I am constantly continuing my grooming education by going to seminars hosted by well known master groomers in our industy, reading articles, member of multiple grooming groups on social media and watching many videos!

Thank you for the welcome, after this long intro, you will be shocked for me to say......I'm a pretty quiet person lol

Hi and Welcome to GS, Lori! I have in-laws in Metairie, so I hear the "y'all" all the time and occasionally use it myself. Pull up a chair and get nice and cozy, you're going to love it here! :D

Hello! Welcome to GS! I just took my dog to the groomer this morning. I don't envy those jobs. But, I always like how good my pup smells when he gets home! God bless people that groom!
