Hello, New to Gingerscraps!

Hello everyone!
My name is Marti McBride. I have been digital scrapping for about 9-10 years. I started on paper about 28 years ago, and even ran a Scrapbook Store called the Scrapbook Nook for a while. But once digital started taking over, I made the switch. I started on Photoshop because I was familiar with the program because of photo editing. I was very prolific at the Digital Scrapbook Place, then I moved over to Pixel Scrapper. I got busy with work and school and just fell out of the habit of scrapping.
Now I have 5 grown children and 3 grandchildren and i am so far behind there is no longer any pressure to catch up. I can be as creative as I want to be. (That's what I tell myself, anyway! HA!) I came here because I love the designers and the big bundles and I am always looking for new inspiration.

I am also from DSP - what was your name there :) We have quite a few homeless refugees from there who found a home here.
 
Hello Marti!! I too owned a brick and mortar scrapbook store, Old Willow Road, for a half a dozen years. And I too found digital scrapbooking through my love of photo editing. So welcome kindred soul - I look forward to spending time hanging out here with you! :)
 
Welcome Marti, I think you will find a lot of inspiration here for sure, lots of challenges to help you to get inspired... Have fun and looking forward to seeing some of your layouts... :)
