A big warm and cherry "Hello" from just outside Myrtle Beach, SC, USA! I'm a born Appalachian Mountain girl from West (by God) Virginia who pulled up roots and moved to the ocean during my mid-life crisis (bought a sports car too!). Thank goodness, that phase has passed now; and I'm a grandmother to three cherubs and have been digi-scrapping and trying my hand at some designing since 2008. I was never a paper scrapper but was always making pretties on the computer and didn't know that kind of art had a name and online communities until I stumbled across it on the web. PSE 6 sat installed on one of my computers for a long, long time before I took classes to become unafraid of it. Ok, you can stop laughing now! I have been a CT for several designers in the past.
My name is Jan, but you will see me on the net as Janytime, SunBum, and/or SunBum Studios. I will work on my profile here eventually, but tonight I will upload my first GS project to the gallery and forum if I am lucky. I did the March desktop challenge for 2015.
I am ashamed to say I have been a silent shadow stalker of GS for a long time but tonight decided to jump onboard! I'm looking forward to visiting the Welcome Wagon threads! I am a night-owl, so if my posts have mistakes in them in the future, you'll know I was up way too late!
I am a Gemini in all sense and meaning of the word. Life gets and has been busy off and on in phases. I do every possible hobby that you can think of, and I rotate from one to another as seasons come and go. I am now retired from the real working world and am hoping that I will have more time for each of my hobby loves!
I worked in the medical world for 26 years in the North, and in the South I have tried my hand at various jobs on the way to retirement.
I bore two daughters and raised a son along with them which has produced the 3 grandbabes. I have had fur babies in my life constantly and many other pets too numerable to mention.
I look forward to getting to know everybody. I already recognize quite a few names!
