Hello from Sweden

My name is Eva and I live in Sweden. Have been away from digiscrapping for about 6 years, and just started again. So much have changed - many of the places where I used to hang out doesn't even exist anymore. I'm relaying a lot on challenges right now to get into scrapping again and I saw you had a couple of fun ones here.

Besides scrapping I like knitting, crocheting, TV and movie nights, pen palling (old school with pen and paper), reading, food and cooking.

Welcome Eva! You've come to the right place. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to get to know you better through your layouts. Oh, yes, the challenges will definitely get you scrapping again, they are so fun!

Welcome Eva! There is a great variety of challenges here, can't wait to see your layouts!

Welcome Eva, my husbands parents immigrated to Canada from Sweden as little kids. My daughter has the pale Swedish skin. Hope to see some of your layouts soon. She is trying to learn Swedish right now.

Welcome Eva
I hope you settle in and enjoy being here as this is a great place to be.

Thanks for all the welcomes! I totally missed that I've gotten so many replies, but now I think I have turned on e-mail notifications. I'm having a blast with the challenges. Trying to decide which one to do next. There sure are great challenges to choose from.

Sherri, do you know where in Sweden your MIL and FIL came from? I do a little bit of genealogy, and am always curious about these things.

Joy, Sundsvall isn't that far from here. Been there once, passing through on our way to Härnösand a couple of years ago. We decided to check Sundsvall out on our way home, but all we got was a pit stop at a McDonald's parking lot. The rain was pouring down - we had to stop at the parking lot cuz our wipers couldn't keep up with the down pour. Needless to say, we didn't get the city walk as we had planned.

Welcome! I hope you find your groove as you return back to digital scrapbooking. There are so many fun challenges on this site. I look forward to seeing your pages! :)

If you stopped at McDonalds by the train station, you were just across the road from where I lived then! What a shame that you missed the town - there is such a lovely history to it. My daughter used to do the roof top tours so knows an awful lot about the different buildings etc.

I'm sure we will go back sometime, as soon as it feels safe to travel again. We randomly pick Swedish cities we haven't been to and book a hotel room for a night or two and explore the town.

Well, if you do, when it is safe to do so again, give me a shout - maybe we can meet up. Or, I can give you some tips of places to visit!
