Hi, I'm Jeanne

I'm a wife (37 years), a mom (son-34 years-pilot for United Airlines), mother-in-law (10 years-AMAZING dil-Nurse Practitioner), Nana (6 years & 4 years), retired (almost 7 years after 35 years as an elementary school librarian), quilter, reader, and gardener. I've been making scrapped photo calendars for Christmas presents for 7 years now, but I really want to get motivated to start scrapping more of my 1000's of pictures that are being held hostage on my computer :(. Really glad to be here!

Hi Jeanne!
Welcome to GingerScraps! You definitely have a lot going on!

Sometimes when you have lots of photos to scrap, it can feel intimidating. LOL! Believe me, I know what that feels like -
hehe Sometimes the challenges help with inspiration.

I've found that using templates with lots of photo spaces (and maybe light on embelishing) helps, too. Check out Dear Friends Designs for some great 2-page many photo templates. Dagi's Temp-tations has a line called Day By Day and Ponytails Designs has a series called Pocketful of Memories.

I hope this helps! And, if you have any questions, there are lots of really helpful, friendly people here!

Welcome!!! There will be a ton of stuff here that will help you with your scrapping!! Jump right in and don't be shy! Check out Seatrout Scraps or Connie Prince too, they do wonderful templates that can make it easier to scrap tons of photos. :)

Hi Trina! I will definitely check out the Minnesota link!!! Even though it doesn't exist anymore :cryhardI went to the College of St. Teresa in Winona. Definitely one of many beautiful spots in Minnesota.

Is St. Teresa now St. Mary's? I went to Winona State, but attended a few classes at St. Mary's, and worked with a retreat team from there and had friends go there :)

St. Mary's is still there. The campus of St. Teresa's is now Cotter High School. I think Winona State is using some of our dorms. Cotter took the beautiful library that I practically lived in and turned it into an athletic facility.

Oh yes - that's right! Was it a teacher college? I had friends that went to Cotter, and I did some student teaching work there as well.

Welcome to Gingerscraps. I hope you enjoy it here as much as i do. We have a night owl chat that is 10 pm Eastern in the chat room. There is a very welcoming group of ladies that chat.
