Decided to jump in. I love GingerScraps, especially the daily downloads, and the variety of designers. I look forward to getting to know your artwork and seeing other's layouts.

I have been doing some digital since 2009. Last year, I decided to make my annual family albums digital from now on. However, I have a 20 year backlog of printed pictures to do the old way too.

I love taking photos and so have a hard time picking just a few to scrap. Putting just one picture on a page is a real challenge for me. :) I like simple pages that allow my pictures to be the star of the page.
 
Hi and welcome to Ginger Scraps. Yes digi is the way to go. I too have many scrapped the 'other way' and golly those books are heavy! I'm even scanning pics and scrapping the old ones digi.

Hi Bev, nice to meet you here! I know your problem of "too much" photos... so I found my way in the middle: some layouts with many photos, some with one big photo when the photo is really special! Sure you will find a lot of stuff to do your year books here!
 
Hi and welcome to GS, we're so happy you're here! I have been working on a project for my daughter who just turned 32 and have been scanning her baby photos like a mad woman, lol. Enjoy your time scrapping!

Hi Bev! Welcome to GS! I also have boxes of old photos & negatives that I had planned to do "the other way," but I've decided I'm going to scan them and do them digitally! :)
 
Hi Bev! Welcome to GS! I did the "other way", too. I am so glad not to haul around all that gear! Digital is way better, but it takes me longer. Trade off I guess!
