Hi, my name is Lidia and I love digi scrapping! I first started crafting when my grand daughter was due to be born and I wanted to make her something special. I came across paper crafting, or more precisely, making mini albums. From there I went on to making cards and all sorts of paper embellishments. I also took up adult colouring and own a gazillion coloured pencils. Recently someone gifted me a 12 x 12 scrapbook album and I had seen someone post a lovely layout and I found out it was made digitally. What, no sticky fingers??? I simply had to find out more and give it a try. That was about 3 months ago and I am totally obsessed now. I just love how even when using the same kit again and again you can have so many totally different results. I'm still a beginner but I just love it! I'm so happy I found this site. Everyone here at GingerScraps is so kind and helpful!
 
Welcome Lidia from another fellow Canadian! I'm on the west coast (Vancouver BC area). I came to digi from paper scrapping yrs ago and once I got over the hurdle of learning how to use PSE and then PS to scrap with, I became addicted. I thought I would really miss the hands on aspect of paper scrapping but I don't really miss it at all. I love that I can scrap anytime and not have to clean up :) I still have a scrap room but haven't used it in yrs and probably will eventually give it up altogether. Digi is just too convenient!

I hope you settle in well and enjoy being here.
Do not hesitate to ask for any help you may need with the program you use. The challenges are great for incentive.

Welcome Lidia I always wanted to name a child Lidia but my daughters father voted otherwise. Beautiful name IMO! It is so exciting to hear you are loving digital and the freedom from mess it can provide. I do not miss those sticky fingers or paper messes at all!
