Hi everyone, my name is Brenda, I grew up in England and moved to Canada when I was 20 with my new husband. I have been paper scrapbooking for approximately 16 to 17 years (actually that is a wild guess as I can't remember!!). In fact I used to own a small scrapbook store way back then.
I am now learning digital scrapbooking and I have been collecting digital scrapbooking supplies for over a year or more. I have produced a number of pages but never really had any lessons except what I could get off the internet. I now have Photoshop Elements 2018 (actually had it for 2 years!), but have not mastered it yet. I am actually at the stage of trying to tag the elements I have installed but have hundreds still to install. Yes, I am a bit stuck!
I hope to learn lots and finally really get going on PSE2018.
I have two grown children (in their 30's) and a funny-looking but cute little 13yr old dog named Jake, who we adopted at the age of 5, so we have lots of photo's of him.
I liked the theme and sound of your site and hope I can learn a lot and finally get my head around digi-scrapping (or should I say get my head around ORGANIZING digi scrapbook elements).

HI BrendaLou! Welcome to GS... I was also a very avid (addicted) paper scrapper way back when. Lack of space and time has led me to digi scrapping.. I started here at GS back in 2012... and it's been an amazing adventure so far! Sorry, I'm no help with elements or PSE... I scrap in Microsoft Word. I also have bunches of puppy layouts, lol.. our baby! Can't wait to see your creations..xoxo..
 
Hi BrendaLou....welcome to another Canadian (I'm on the west coast of BC, Vancouver area). I was a paper scrapper for many years and switched over to digi a number of yrs ago and never looked back. I love digi. I still make cards now and then but all my pages are digi. Welcome and be sure to ask any questions you might have.

Welcome to GingerScraps. I was an addicted paper scrapper for years. In 2009 we were going on a road trip and I decided that would be a great time to break out the PSE7, I think it was, and learn it. It took me a good 9 months to really get the hang of it. I started by literally creating a paper page and duplicating it in digital. That was the only way I could wrap my brain around layers and all that stuff. Styles and effects came much later. LOL. I am self taught PSE user and love to follow along with the tutorials on the GSblog and learn new things. I am still learning stuff and learning the "right" way to do things I have been doing the hard way for 10 years. LOL.
Jump in and don't be afraid to ask questions. We have all been there!
