Hi, I'm Terri and I live in central Virginia with a view of the Blue Ridge from my favorite wine-drinking chair in the front yard. I've been digi-scrapping for about 12 years, always on ScrapGirls, and am now, kicking and screaming, on the search for a new place. I have 1/4 of this year's Project 52 pages done and need to keep motivated. I found the P52 challenge thread, but not the P52 FAQs referred to there, so if anyone can point me in that direction....

In addition to my scrapping, I spend a lot of time biking, knitting, and working on trails in the area. I also admire from a distance my husband's constant gardening, so I can enjoy the yard but not do the work. I'm looking forward to sharing my pages with you.

I hope you settle in and enjoy being here.
I take part in P52 so what do you need to know? If you look through the threads in the challenge section for P52 you will see how some people create their pages weekly with photos from each day some might just pick one day to feature on their pages, etc.
 
Thanks! Not sure what I don't know, I thought it would be useful to see what the more detailed description is. Just trying to get my balance before I try to post anything.

Terri, just create the style of pages you did at Scrap Girls. The only thing is that, if you want to be part of the Cookie Jar ( accumulate points for the Collab kit after completing 10 challenge layouts) you need to use at least 80% products from Designers who are currently here at Ginger Scraps ( you can use things from those designers that you bought previously).

Welcome Terri, I hear you re the kicking and screaming when a beloved digi home closes, very sorry to hear about ScrapGirls. I felt the same after my first and only digi home, DSP, closed a few years ago, In fact I stopped scrapping altogether for a year until, after a few false starts in other places, I found GS, my now forever home. It is a great place to call home. Hop on in and enjoy, you will get the hang of it all pretty soon

So glad you are here my dear. Please remember to collect the Daily Download (you can grab 5 or 6 days back) in the BLOG
And remember to grab the free stuff our designers gifted to Ginger Scraps community, you can find all of them in the WELCOME WAGON and you can use all that stuff for the challenges.
I too do the Project 365 - 52 challenges, you can continue doing the same kind of beautiful pages that you've done at ScrapGirls, and post in the gallery. Remember to track the covered challenges HERE and update your post, so you can get the collab kit.
 
Welcome, Terri! I envy you both the wine chair and the view of the mountains! I, too, was sorry to hear that Scrap Girls was closing, but hope you like being here.

Welcome Terri! We are a friendly, helpful bunch. I, too, have come from other "shops" that closed and finally made GingerScraps my home.
 
Welcome Teri! I am happy you are here with us at GingerScraps. I 'get' how difficult it can be to lose your digi home [been there...and found this one!!!]. I did some posting at SG.
I will say I am envious of the view with your wine drinking chair. How I would love to join you! I too knit and lately fiddle with planting stuff in a garden. Well, they are in pots of the screened porch. I'm trying!! Jump in and have fun with us.

Hi Terri! I'm impressed that you're so committed to the Project 52 pages! I'm always inspired by those, but haven't committed to trying that yet! LOL!
