Happy New Year Everyone!!!

We had a very quiet New Year's here. DH is under the weather, my little gal is still sick (she was in hospital overnight two days before Christmas as they thought she had appendicitis!) and my son broke his hand on Dec 18th, so it's been a whirlwind of exhaustion for me the last two weeks!!!

We watched the Canada/USA hockey game and then the Leaf's game. I was in bed by 11 reading on my iPad and DH fell asleep on the couch around 11:30 he said. LOL....we are just SO SO Exciting aren't' we???

At any rate, no matter how you celebrated last night, I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL and PROSPEROUS 2015!!

Interesting note ** The movie Back to the Future 2 was out in 1989. The year Marty McFly goes to in the future is 2015! I remember watching it as a very young adult (I was 21) and thinking "WOW...2015 is really far away!" and HERE WE ARE...

It sure does! I'm hoping 2015 is calmer for you!!
2014 wasn't the best year we've ever had. In fact I think it was the hardest year of my life. We're prayerful for a happier 2015 and so far its off to a lazy start! It's cold and rainy here today so I'm making Minestrone Soup and we're just enjoying Netflix and each other.

we had a great time last night out, and then I sprained my foot ( rolled the ankle) I should know better than to wear heels!

Thanks ladies for the commiseration with me. :) I think we are on an upswing now. :) School is back tomorrow and we will get back to a routine and normal hours.
 
We didn't have any hospital visits, but have been having our round of the common cold to muck up our celebrations. We took a mini-vacation from the 28-31st, so we had a quiet night in for New Year's. Our oldest two (14 & 12) were still awake. Unfortunately, our 9 yo threw up after dinner! :( She was back asleep before NY and was fine in the morning. Maybe just too much excitement.
Since then, we have mostly kept things pretty low key. Everyone is home and just watching TV or playing Video Games so that we could all get better. On the upside - I have had time to scrap!!
