Great ending to a lousy day....

This day did not start out well. Fell partway down the stairs from my bedroom to the main floor right after getting out of bed this morning.... wrenched my arm/shoulder and landed on my tail bone. OUCH. Felt like I was going to throw up for about half an hour. Was late getting to school for gym duty (supervising 4th - 8th graders) because I had a bit of a hard time getting going. My 6th graders seemed a bit off the wall today... ended up sending a couple of boys from my last block to the office, which I rarely do. Found out that my oldest son rescheduled a voice lesson for today... a day during which I had to cook a meal for the marching band banquet and get the boys there an hour before it actually started. After the lesson (during which I ran to the grocery store to get the food to cook the meal - spaghetti pie), I was working in the kitchen and my youngest son pulled the handle off of the kitchen sink. OMG! Now I have no faucet there.... lovely. Also, while we were all at the banquet, the dog pulled a pan off of the counter and smashed it.... glass everywhere. Today was a Murphy's Law kind of day for sure!!

Now that you've listened to my whining (LOL), here's the great ending.... my son Noah was awarded one of the "most improved" trophies for the marching band! This was his first year, and he absolutely loved it. I'm super proud of how hard he worked! His award was well deserved. :)

Oh, my goodness, Lori, all in one day! Congratulations to your son! Other than his award, I hope today's a complete opposite of yesterday. :)

Wow, Lori! That was quite a start to your day :( I hope you're feeling better today. Congrats to Noah!

Ugg, that did start off quite hectic and crazy. Glad there was a great ending and that you had something to look up to

Lori! I read this yesterday and wasn't in a position to reply but OhMY! What a day! It's strange how things like that all happen at the same time... I've had days like that, sometimes it's weeks....

Congrats to your son, how exciting! and glad to read the next day was better...

oh Lori!! What a day indeed! You are always such a busy mom with busy kids. I'm in awe everyday how you do it...on a regular day. Now throw in all these "challenges" and wow.... You are amazing!

Super congrats to Noah!! You raised amazing boys, Lori!

Oh my gosh, what a day! Stairs scare me to begin with. It's good to know no serious injuries.
Congratulations to Noah.
