Ghosts?

Do you believe in ghosts or paranormal activity? Have you ever encountered something? Would you be afraid or would you welcome the experience?

I believe in spirits for sure. I've never "seen" a ghost but I do feel energy quite often. We stayed at the Stanley Hotel in Colorado which is the hotel they filmed the TV Shining not the original film at and it's one of the top haunted locations in America. We paid extra to stay in a "haunted" room but nothing happened, other than I had a HUGE headache all night. They say that when their are spirits there is a higher magnetic field and people who are sensitive to that stuff can get a headache or made to feel ill etc. But alas we didn't see anything. :/

I do believe. I am a cardiac arrest survivor, although I don't remember my journey to the other side and back due to a brain injury from lack of oxygen during my arrest, I have heard far too many other stories to be able to discount that side of our world.

I don't really know. but when I was a teenager, every summer, when we visit our house in the province, my cousins who live there would always tease us and scare us about ghosts and stuff. Then one time before we sleep, we were talking about college and life when one of the chairs in the kitchen moved. We were thinking till this days if our uncle moved it to scare us, you know, with a thread. And we get to tease who screamed the loudest and who jumped and run so fast hehe

I believe in spirits also - I've had several experiences over the years as has my daughter but they're too long to type about here - LOL

I 100% believe in ghost.

My first encounter was at an old Army Air Corp base across from the local airport were B-24 Liberators. Our CAP unit used to meet in the old base admin building up on the second floor. When the meetings were over we would have to go down stairs to the ground floor all the way to the end of the hall to shut the lights off. One night I saw a stunning woman sitting in one of the rooms at an old typewriter. Freaked me out.

My second encounter was one night while working security one Saturday night on an air show weekend. I was doing a check of the hanger around midnight. There was only two way in this hanger. There were only 4 people in the hanger that night. I left the security office and was about halfway around when I spotted a man who looked mid 20's. He was in a WW2 aviators uniform compete with a parachute strapped to him. I went across the hanger to catch up with him and he was gone. The only door a person could have gone out on that side of the hanger was a very loud hanger door. I some research afterward and seen a picture of the crew that died in a crash there at the airport. My nightly visitor looked exactly like the pilot.
A side note on that hanger: Every time I ever got near it I felt a presence there. When the hanger burned to the ground I went back the day after and the presence was gone. As if he had been released when the hanger burned.

The most startling one was the night my grandfather had died.
All night long he had said to my mom, dad, and sisters that he would be dancing with the angels by morning. He never said it to the kids. We had to leave the hospital around 1 am because my oldest had school the next day. I got home and tucked my boys into bed and went up to our room. I looked at the monitor and noticed my 4-year-old sitting up in bed. I went down to ask what was wrong. He told me that Old Papa was dancing with his angels now. I didn't think anything about it. I tucked him back in and went up to my bed. About five minutes later I got a call from my sister at the hospital. My grandfather had passed away about ten minutes earlier. We are convinced that he stopped by on his way to the afterlife.
