How do you feel about it? Love it? Hate it? Tolerate it?
I would have to say that I pretty much hate a lot of aspects of it, but I have so many family and friends I keep contact with, that as long as I stay out of the comm boxes and don't talk politics - it's fine.


Do you have an account?
Yes, I have two actually. One just has my closest friends that I escape to when people are being jerks about politics or nastily attacking people or beliefs.


Do you use it for yourself? Your scrapping? Another venture or hobby?
Yes, I post a heck of a lot of memes and updates about my family. I also post nearly all of my scrapbook pages.


Do you follow friends you know, famous people, or stores?
I used to follow a LOT of well known people - and I mean a lot, but I didn't want to know what my fave people thought politically. It really soured me to them. SOOO - at the last election in which Mr. Obama won his second term, I unfollowed every political figure, every update from my local politicians, and walked away from "real life" discussions on facebook.


How much to you change your profile pic on Facebook?
Right now? A few months old. It's the same one I have here.

I love it. I mean, there are lots of things I don't love about how people use it (to post negativity, hate on each other for a variety of reasons, etc).

I use it for myself. I don't post a ton, but I guess I go through phases. Sometimes I post a lot of layouts, sometimes lots of pics, sometimes memes.


Do you follow friends you know, famous people, or stores?
All of the above, but mostly family and designers. I "like" lots of businesses and brands too, but the main reason I use FB is because I have lots of family that I rarely see, so I enjoy getting to see their updates.


How much to you change your profile pic on Facebook?
I posted a new one last week, but I don't love it and will prob change it again soon!

I hate everything about it, but I tolerate it since I seem to be in the minority.

I only have an account for business purposes and for CT work, though. Otherwise, I'd never use it.

My only friends are people who help with my businesses since they admin pages and such. I do follow my favorite scrapbooking stores, but no one famous.

LOL Mine is from 3 years ago. :)

This is me. I now have relationships with cousins and my husband's family that I never would have if not for FB.

I'm interested in what about it makes you in the minority - or tolerate it. If you care to share. :) I feel like if not for the Bullies/Keyboard warriors it would be an awesome place! I love the little peeks I have into my friends and family's lives - even if they are somewhat white washed at times.

I wish there was a way to keep politics out of it - then it would be heaven!!

I'm a minority in that most people seem to like Facebook for the most part and I don't. :)

Ahh, ok.

I can relate. When I first got Facebook, I had NO IDEA how it worked. I was so confused that I walked away from my account and never went back for nearly 2 years. People on scrapping forums stopped (for the most part) using the galleries and started posting and chatting on FB, so I decided to try again. About that time, my Dad died and friends and family started appearing out of the woodworks, and I reconnected with many people I had lost contact with. That started me actually using and figuring it out, and I love it now. Well, except for the nasty bullies and mouthy ones. LOL

I pretty much just tolerate it. It helps me keep in contact with friends and family, and that's about it.

Yes, just one. I've had it for just over 10 years.

Just me, myself and I, and the one FB game I play, although I can play that on its own. I post pages now and then, but not as much as I used to.

I follow friends and family, a few designers. No famous people though.

Not often enough! My current one is 10 years old and it's pretty much been that since I first put it up there.

I like it a lot, it's a great way to stay in touch with family that live far away...

Yes, I also have 2, one for family and close friends, and another one for all my scrapping friends and share all my layouts. I also share some layouts with the family, and I have some who request a layout with their photos... But I was missing news form family when I had everything on one account so decided to make another one for all the scrapping news....

Yes, I also have a deaf daughter, and we chat everyday on FB... LOL and sometimes we Skype... LOL

I do on the scrapping account and just family on the other one... I try to stay away from the politics, to many people get mad about that stuff so I just stay away from it...

I make my own avatars and banners and try to change them every month or 2, just depends on how much time I have, I have a Valentine one up now....

Ambivalent - I love that I can keep in close contact with my family and friends in England, that I have contacted school friends from when I was little (or they have contacted me!), and that I am in touch with most of my friends from high school. I like that I can keep up with all the news.

I don't like the 'bashing' that goes on. I think it tends to polarize people. It used to be you could have a decent discussion with some people about religion or politics. Now, instead of an intelligent discussion about opposing opinions, we just get name calling.

Only for friends and family. I have posted a lot of scrapbook pages, though.

Do you follow friends you know, famous people, or stores?I follow GS and some of the designers, I belong to some private groups for Instant Pot, Grief and a few other things. I may follow one or two stores, but only if they really attract my attention. Absolutely no one famous, I don't think.

Like most of you, I keep up with friends and family. I don't like the bashing or name calling so I stay away from politics.

Overall I enjoy the keeping in touch with people I know, and distant relatives I've found. I avoid any controversial topic.

Meh, I do love the support groups on it though. For my rare heart condition, my S-ICD, cardiac arrest survival, they have saved me these last few years. I don’t do family on fb. I do many many online friends. Seldom post personal stuff. But share lots.

I use it for patient awareness, for geocaching, and the support groups mentioned above. Scrapping is in groups not my personal page.

My fb header monthly, my profile pic constantly but it’s seldom of me


my kids tell me I use fb, Instagram and twitter wrong, but I do what works for me

I'm okay with it. I like to see all of my friends' posts when I'm online. I wonder/worry when I don't see them post. But late last year, I had enough drama and political arguements of my friends (local and worldwide), so I made a scrapbooking account for the sole purpose of posting my layouts on some groups. Not often, my current profile picture was from 2016.

I follow a few famous people, scraps stores I like, scrap designers I like, friends, family some sports teams & local businesses

Very rarely, it became a running joke between friends that I never changed my bunny ears profile so I had a commisisoned drawing done wearing the bunny ears & one as a zombie wearing bunny ears that I swap to for halloween
 
I use for scrapping and staying connected with friends and family which is wonderful to do these days. I am with most of you though, love to stay connected but hate all the negativity on FB. I just mind my own business and pass over all the crap.

I love it for the most part. When I see negativity, I either unfollow or delete or just scroll through.. no time for that stuff.
I love it mostly because I have family in other countries and it's a great way to stay in touch with them.
