Getting a jump on Thanksgiving

I'm skipping Halloween and going straight for Thanksgiving because I'll be hosting the big family dinner this year. I want to get a jumpstart on table decorations for autumn. Please help with suggestions/ideas to help me create a special tablescape for family and friends!

Yes, but I have to watch myself. Surfing Pinterest can be a big timesucker for me! And I get "off topic" too easily.
