Any other Aussies here? Or ex-DSPers? I am a refugee from Digital Scrapbook Place which closed over 12 months ago, I thought I had given up scrapbooking after that, but now am trying to refresh an old hobby and looking for a new comfortable home. This site format is very similar to the one used at DSP so it is not a big learning curve here thankfully. I live in country NSW, Australia, am 70 years old, married, mother of 3, grandmother of 8. I love to read, linedance, meet friends for lunch, chase the grandkids around (although some of them rudely got old enough to drive their own cars around!!!) I have uploaded one Lo to the gallery using a freebie minikit (thanks SeatroutScraps). Hoping to do more challenges next month. Sadly the Aussie dollar is not looking too happy against the US dollar at the moment so I won't be able to go overboard in the store :(
 
Welcome Jill. Happy you popped in here at GingerScraps. I remember DSP. I've been around digi a long time...LOL.
in addition to the links Lisa shared, there is a FWP each month, and dollar sales the 15th thru the 20th each month.

HI Jill!! Welcome! I am not an Aussie, but my husband and I went there for our honeymoon many years ago. I would love to bring our kids there...maybe one day... So happy you are here, can't wait to see your creations in the gallery!
 
Welcome to Gingerscraps. I hope you find a new home here. The ladies here are lovely. There is a Night Owl Chat at 10 pm Eastern. Which if i did the math right would be about 1 pm on Saturday afternoon. There is a wonderful group that get together for that
