Sugar Cookie : GingerScraps Praise
I was born in England, on the Northwest Coast, hence the name FormbyGirl. I moved over here almost 50 years ago, though, and have made my home here. My son moved back to England and married a Lancashire lass 6 years ago. I have a grandson in England. I joined Gingerscraps forever ago, when I was on the creative team at DSP, which closed down a few years ago. I have not settled anywhere as my digital home since then. Recently I found Jill again, and she HIGHLY recommended settling down here. I gave it a trial and it passed with flying colours. I have found a home again! I have posted a bunch of layouts with all my new GS purchases and am happy scrapping again.

I love Gingerscraps, it's the first and only Digi place I've known since I started digiscrapping. Everyone is super friendly!

Where about in CA are you from? I live in the Bay Area, about 45 min away from San Francisco.
 
I am Southern California. At DSP, before it closed, we used to have a lot of 'laptop crops' all over the place, but our annual one was in San Jose at Adobe Headquarters for some time. It was loads of fun. I am thinking of putting together a laptop crop and inviting all the old DSP folks in the area, along with any Gingerscraps folks who would like to attend. I love the experience of getting to know folks in real life. Some of my dearest in real life friends started out as digital folks. When I was on the CT at DSP, I used to post layouts here and was blown away by how incredibly friendly the Gingerscraps folks were, even knowing I was from a rival site. Everyone commented on layouts and was very welcoming. I am so glad Jill dragged me over here :) I have not really been scrapping and am HUNGRY to scrap again, hence piling layouts into my gallery.

So good to see you scrapping again again Lynnette. I joined Gingerscraps a few weeks back and can really say I may have at last found a site to become my new home.
