Forgetting to take photos

I keep forgetting to take photos today! Did my "welcome to the new year" treadmill run (wasn't going to go outside - the footing is too dangerous). No photos. Cooked up a batch of pasta sauce for lasagna, and obtained three lasagnas and two batches of pasta sauce from it - one lasagna in the oven, the rest in the freezer. No photos. I guess I could scrap about forgetting to take photos!

Anyone ever find themselves doing that? I'm normally taking way more photos than I will ever need/scrap, but today I've just totally forgotten about the camera!

I've done that so many times. I go to "dump" my phone at the end of the week and realize there were whole days when I didn't take a single photo! And sometimes we did some pretty awesome things that day :/

YES!! Between forgetting and children being anti-pictures, I've been really bad at capturing the memories lately, lol.
I hope to get more into it this year. I do need to dump my pictures, too. I have hardly any space on my phone, lol!

I just moved 12 gig of photos off my phone to my EDD!! LOL. There were photos on there from January of 2015 until now.

I didn't take any photos on Christmas eve at my brother's or Christmas day at my FIL's. There was just no time and really don't like the quality of my phone photos. (need to get an iPhone just for the camera!!) I did take about 30 photos on Christmas morning though of just us, so that was something. LOL

I did a few years of taking a photo a day and had a break last year and have not taken it on this year either. It can be fun.

I forgot to take pics of our New Year's eve party this year. Seriously. My brain has reached maximum capacity.

I have issues with taking photos. The only time I seem to take them is if something Amazing is going on or we go somewhere really fun. Other than that forget about it. Maybe I should just start stealing my kids "selfies" heaven knows they take tons of photos.

With only a teen in the house now I don't get many photos and I'm okay with that really. My day-to-day activities are the same for the most part; work, housework, cooking, etc. I really don't need daily photos of that - believe me, I'll remember it 30 years from now and so will my kids - LOL. And for big events/vacations, etc. I will take some photos but sometimes it's nice to just be in the moment and not worry about capturing every detail.... sometimes, for me, being so camera conscious takes away from the moment. I used to take umpteen million photos everywhere I went but now I take a reasonable amount to capture the memories and then give it a rest.

To be honest I am not that organised and just haven't got the time to take everyday photo's. Sounds terrible I know but I just couldn't be bothered!! By the time I get home from work at 6 or 7 pm, cook dinner, spend a bit of time with Jessica doing homework and getting her off to bed by 8:30 I just dont even think of stopping and taking those everyday photos.
I suppose If I think about it I take most of my photos on the weekend unless it is a special occasion or something extra amazing!!

I have been so bad with that lately!!!! My youngest son got a big bump (goose egg) on his forehead. I got ice instead of taking a pic of it. What kind of mom am I????? Then I drove my daughter & 5 friends to a sushi restaurant. Didn't take a photo of the restaurant or any of them hanging out together. ggggrrrrrrr!!!!! so mad at myself! I wish I could go back & have a re-do.
