Forever Artisan - anyone here use this?

Hi!

I'm a long time digi scrapper, starting with Creative Memories' old StoryBook Creator. It's since become Forever Artisan but is improved with more editing options.

Does anyone else here use Artisan?

Thanks!
Karen

hi Karen! I have a few ladies on the CT who use this program. not sure what you need but I will send them your way :).

Hi Karen,

I use Artisan and have been using various forms of this since Creative Memories first came out with SBC. Do you have a question that I could help you with? If I can't I know lots of ladies to ask for help!
Barbara

Hi Denise,

I just saw your response here. I also am a very long time user of SBC and now Artisan5. I also really love the program and think it is very easy to use compared to many other programs and it gets fabulous results. I have one issue I have not yet been able to overcome and was wondering if you or someone else out there might have the answer. I cannot seem to use the masks that come from online stores such as Gingerscraps and be able to implement their use successfully using Artisan. I see the inspirations using masks on blog postings but I cannot get them to work that way in Artisan. Usually the photo will not fit into the mask properly. I've tried several ways of using the mask to try and make it work but no luck. Have you mastered this and could you share if so?

Hi Lori,

I posted a reply to Denise above and then saw your post below. I have already watched your post re converting pngs to a page file but from this thread was able to see that you had a post available on masks. So I tried it both ways. Unfortunately the same problem I have been having occurred....on the paste it takes way too big an area of my photo. I would really like to know how to get the mask to take the portion of the photo I want it to take. I had hoped that making the mask and the photo a similar size would allow for this but it still does not work. I am going to see if I can attach a screenshot of what I mean below. Help would be greatly appreciated! Nope--cant seem to paste the screenshot. Hope you can understand what I am saying.

Hi Barbara. Long time CM/Artisan user. I was looking for some help with masks. I have looked at Lori Bickford's videos and I already use masks in the way she outlines. But many masks do not work that way and those are the ones I need specific help with. I can provide more detail once I have someone who is able to help out.

Susan, masks work different in A4 and A5. Which one do you have? Are you already working with a Forever Ambassador (just login to your Forever account and see who your ambassador is in the upper right). I'm sure your Ambassador can help you, however I'd be happy to help too (yes, I am an Ambassador). I love using masks in A5 - it's way easier than in A4! Best, Karen
