First and Latest!

I thought it would be fun to share our FIRST layout posted here at GS and then our latest - and see how we've grown/changed as scrappers! Link us!

Oh God, here's my first. LOLOL

I remember doing this layout. It most certainly is not my first as I started scrapping in 2006, but I remember this because I came back to scrapping after a hiatus and I wanted to be more "artsy" but I was a clean and graphic scrapper. I tried to mix the two, with minimal success IMO.

Here's my latest, done Week 4 of Survivor here! I have kept my graphic style, but I think I've done pretty well with learning how to shadow and selectively use elements in piles.

I'd love to see your before and afters!!

I love that last layout - when you used it for Survivor it impacted me so much. Great contrast between the two!

My first, but I was on CT at another site and posting here - Not the best layout in the world, but fun!

My latest is also my survivor layout :)

Oh, I think your first one is so fun!! I have a layout of my Mom, my Daughter, and Me at a Tea house wearing silly hats - I love it!!

I saw your Survivor layout and knew you were stiff competition!! It's gorgeous and really shows a lot of talent. Mine is pretty, but it's not inventive.

I get stuck in the same mode, though. I want to be super creative and wow the socks off people. But then I end up just staring at the screen!

AND I think yours is very creative and BEAUTIFULLY scrapped.

Me too! And the ones I think super creative never get any attention. Like this one. I actually giggled when I was done and had tears in my eyes! I felt I had really accomplished art journaling. It got so little attention I started second guessing myself.

That is such a powerful page, Susan. REALLY powerful and I can see why you were in tears. I want to print it and stick it on my wall. It is fantastic.

You are more than welcomed to! Thank you. I really was second guessing myself!!!

Here are a few of my art journaling ones - really old:

I don't think I ever posted some of my favourites.

Here's my first, when I joined GingerScraps last August after several years of hiatus. I originally started digiscrapping in 2006.

And here's my latest, from last night.

I will play.
I found something amazing - I have 50 pages of layouts! Wow! I couldn't believe there were so many.
Although this is not my first layout, it is the first one that I posted here at Gingerscraps for the Daily Download Challenge
August 8, 2013

and just for fun - here is my Survivor 4 Week 2 layout from 2013's Oz themed

and here is my latest Survivor layout (although I also have new Buffet and Monthly Mix posted for April)

These are all so much fun to look at :) I will find my very first layout one of these days soon and post it. I looked for it quickly just now. I found the second and third layout I did, but not the very first. They actually are not too bad because I was in a competition called "New Kids on the Block" and everyone made suggestions on what to do to make it better. It was like a bootcamp for scrapping.

Soooo... I started digi scrapping July 2012. Before that I was an avid (addicted) paper scrapper. I would say my style has changed significantly! wow... 88 pages of layouts in almost 6 years. I guess I'm still addicted! ha!

my baby... he looks a lot different, too!

I see lots of beautiful pages especially those of the latest!

Here's my very first page posted on GS on November 2011. A lot has changed since then. I used to be a paper scrapper, but when I discovered photoshop, wow, makes everything light!

And here's my latest layout:

First layout here at GingerScraps on October 27, 2011
(which was not my first layout as I had been scrapping since 2005)

My last layout that I uploaded here at GingerScraps
(granted I haven't uploaded a recent layout since January)

Since I haven't uploaded layouts in the gallery in a while, this is the last layout that I scrapped this morning:

I love these!! I am so enjoying the progression we all have been doing and sometimes even the change in style! LOVE IT!

Anyone else want to play?

Your element piling is AMAZING!!! You are so wonderfully talented at shadows!
