A girl called Samson by Amy Harmon (goodreads description)
It's an adult historical fiction romance, I've read What the wind knows by this author, and I love it, so I hope this will also be a good book, even though there's no time travels involved. We will discuss the book all month long.
Just to recap, we'll be reading books that you all choose through a vote from 11th to 17th, we will follow this outline, for a better organization, and to give a chance to everyone to get the books on time. So, please start suggesting books you'd like us to read together IN THIS THREAD, all genres are welcome, and you can add as many as you like!
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope several of you will choose to join us.
Wonderful weekend everyone!

This will be the fourth book of Amy's I have read so I am looking forward to it. I can highly recommend "The Unknown Beloved". I have read it twice and still enjoyed it the second time round. Another one of Amy's I have read but did not enjoys as much is "Where the Lost Wander".

Anne-Marie dear, yo he leído solo What the wind knows, and I loved it! for Outlander fans, I think What the Wind Knows would be a book they would really enjoy, even though it's not set in Scotland, but in Ireland. Thanks for the recommendation I added The unknown beloved to my reading wish list.

SO excited that it's free on Amazon! The kindle unlimited included ebook and audio book!
This is not a genre I usually read but I'm excited to give it a try!

@GingerScraps dear, I haven't read this book, but I did read one by this author called What the wind knows, and I liked the way she developed the story. By the middle of the book, I was so hooked that in a couple of chapters I couldn't even put it down to go to sleep, lol, I had to know what happened. So if this book is anything like the one I read, we'll have a pleasant read.

I read Making Faces by her last year. I like it. I'm so into Historical fiction, so I might give it a try. I hope I can squeeze it into my routine. Unfortunately, I didn't find it translated into Portuguese, I'll have to go with the English edition then, it's good to know it's free on Amazon otherwise I wouldn't be able to read it.

So glad to hear you join us, welcome dear Dani <3 ! Adding Making faces to my reading list :) thanks for the recommendation.

I started this book and am about one third through it. Amy writes in a way that really does keep your interest. I am enjoying the story so far.

I totally agree. I don't want to read yet the book, because I need to scrap some pages, and I know that if I start reading, it will catch me and I won't put the book down until I finish it. I love Amy's writing style!

Okay, about two thirds of the way through the book and it still has my attention, not quite to the stage that I cannot put it down.
