Feb 4th RQOTD: What's your favourite animal or reptile and why?

I love turtles and penguins. I think penguins are the coolest animals ever. They walk on 2 feet, they swim and slide like nobody's business and they always look like they are having a good time. I also like the fact that in penguin world, the WOMAN is the boss lol...the man keeps the eggs warm until they hatch. I could get used to that.

Turtles are just awesome. I love how sad they always look. They seem so humdrum and relaxed. lol.

I also love giraffes. They are the most beautiful creatures and so gentle it seems. I asked my mom for a pet giraffe from ages 3 to about 10 every year for my birthday. She obviously said no. lol
 
Great choices! Penguins are awesome.
My favorite is panda bears! I have loved them since I was a little girl. That is where the nickname Shawn Bear came from. I live about 2 hours away from a zoo with panda bears...I cry (literally) every time I see them. I really don't know why I like them so much. I just always have.
 
Elephants - they are incredible animals and it just awes me that all the strength and power is fueled by only plant foods :D
 
sloth has been my favorite for quite some time.. lol not sure why, it's because of their cute faces and the face expression I guess :)
 
Koalas!!
You keep them fed, and they're cute and cuddly and sweet.
Don't feed them?
They become hellions.

I LOVE SO MANY!! I love giraffes...they are so elegant and remind me of very sophisticated ladies in high heels; I love elephants, they are so majestic and have a lovely family commitment instinct; I love meerkats, they are so cute and busy and the designated driver...er lookout is so diligent at his job perched up there on the highest spot; I love dolphins, they are just SO intelligent and graceful; I love........shall I go on???
 
Oh this is hard.. but I think every animal with less than 8 legs is adorable (I hate spiders...sorry...) - besides our dogs and cats I love the others too.
And looking on our wild friends: I love gorillas - they are so amazing!
 
I pretty much love any animal! I love dogs. And monkeys, and deer, and giraffes, and elephants, and snakes, and lizards, and moose, and pretty much love them all :)
 
Monkeys. All kinds of monkeys but I really love orangutans. They are so much like people, but not! I could watch them for hours at a zoo.
