Does anyone have any totally awesome fonts they always like to use and some sites where they get them from?

Do you all use free fronts or do you ever purchase them?

What about Adobe Typekit. Do you ever use that to 'borrow' your fonts from the library?

I generally use free fonts. There are so many wonderful free ones, I haven't found the need to purchase fonts...

I think that if I had to use only one font forever, it would be Architect's Daughter. Very simple and clear, easy to read. But, in general, I love a handwritten font (that is still clear - so many are hard to read!) - almost anything by DJB fonts or Kimberly Geswein are my go-to fonts. If I am doing a really "themed page" - I will go and search for a free font, but generally those are my go-tos...

I go through spells of using a single font and then move on to another font. I am so uninventive sometimes.

I subscribe to way to many font sites & most of the ones I have are commercial use for work even the free ones
I don't have a favourite but I am a bit of a font-o-holic can't resist a good font!

I didn't know that about Font Squirrel. I will have to go check them out now. And I love Architect's Daughter too. I use a lot of DJB fonts and Kimberly Geswein fonts as well. Another that I love is Set Fire to the Rain and Al Dente. I used those quite a lot.

**fontaholic** for sure! but I still need more, haha!

My go to journal font is KG Drops of Jupiter

Skinny Things-- https://www.dafont.com/skinny-things.font

I have also used this for a cursive font, but I loosen the spacing, original is too close for me
Affectionately Yours-- https://www.dafont.com/affectionately-yours.font

And I was happy to see this available again, LOVE it!! Great for titles
Brazilian Script-- https://fontbundles.net/free-font-of-the-week

For titles, this is one of my favorites! It was offered for free sometime last year, maybe it will again
Hazelnut Typeface-- https://creativemarket.com/heybinggo/292390-Hazelnut-Typeface-Bonus-Extras

Lori just introduced me to this font, so pretty!!
Cleopatra Script-- https://fontlot.com/cleopatra-script.font
It matches this template set, hehe!!

I could go on...and on, lol! I also design invitations and party decorations, so I'm always looking for fonts! ♥♥

No, this thread doesn't help my addiction yet either, Lynnie!

That being said, I'm going to check everything out, of course, when I get a free moment. :)

I really like that Hazelnut one. I will have to watch for it to go on special. A lot of your favorites, Em, are mine too! KG Drops of Jupiter and Traveling Typewriter are on my list of favorite fonts.

Well, what a lovely time I have had looking for new fonts :) I don't NEED any, but I sure to love them :) My goal is to find a font that looks just like my handwriting so my journaling on layouts always looks like I did it :) I had a coupon once for a custom font, but that was a long time ago...
