Favorite gift you gave this year? Or received?

I think the best gift I gave was one I bought for my whole family, to be primarily used by my 2 kids- a Nintendo Switch. So far they've made very good use of it! :D
 
My favorite gift to give was a wooden board for each of my married kids with their last name and wedding date on it. They turned out really well.
My favorite received gift was handmade washcloths from my DIL.
 
My favorite gift I won't get to enjoy until August...we are going on a cruise with my entire family!! My favorite gift to give was to my son - some excursions to go on while we are on the cruise.
 
My favourite gifts to give were bookmarks and pendants featuring some of my fledgling flow art



...and my favourite gift to receive was a tiny Swarovski bird bath ornament...so cute.
 
My favorite gift to give was the 2018 Photo Calendars for our friends family and the Photo Calendars I made for us. My favorite to receive was a So Clean 2 for cleaning my Cpap. My husband surprised me with it because I was really really really terrible about cleaning it. It goes without saying that I love giving Legos to my grandkids because then I can play with them too.
 
I bought my daughter a Me: A Compendium: A Fill In Journal For Kids and she really liked it. Like me, my daughter also loved to read and write so I know that it will be the perfect gift for he. She brings it anywhere with a pencil. She draws in it and writes and answers all the questions. The I bought my husband a playstation VR, and he really liked it too. My daughter and he are playing with it for days.
 
I got a lot of nice things this year, but I got them all early and really didn't have anything to open on Christmas Day. I got a new iPhone8, an indoor herb garden, and my favorite thing - an Instant Pot! Love it!
 
I scrapped a family calendar with Kristmess' DAZE kits / elements sets. I do one every year and changed it up with my Gingerscraps stash this year.

I also scrapped some gift certificates. For my husband I gave him a certificate to watch one "Treasure of Oak Island Show" and for that 1/2 hour - BELIEVE that they will find the treasure :)

I gave him a certificate for two shelves on one of my bookcases. He has wanted to put his books there for so long. He was thrilled.

I also gave him fifteen minutes of undivided attention to one of this theories about the movement of the planets and their secret meanings (which bore me to tears, sadly) I promised it would 'undivided, FASCINATED, attention!' It was his favourite gift.

I also scrapped an album of his acting roles. I was not able to finish it due to a bad accident in November, but he loved what I got done and I am excited to finish it for him.

Good to know! I have been trying to avoid it because we already have a Wii U and a Xbox One but I have heard good things! I myself love the Mario franchise so that new Mario one for the Switch will probably make me cave in!

I love this! That is very special! My favorite gifts are personalized ones that people wouldn't really buy for themselves but they are so cool and are from the heart! Handmade stuff is the best too!

Oh yes! My 10 year old LOVES his Legos too! Calendars are an awesome gift because they can be joined all year long! That Cpap cleaner sounds like it was very useful! Love it!

I gave my daughter a speaker for the shower, she loves it.

I got an an infinity scarf, tree bauble, and art felt from my most favourite artist, I love it all.
