One of my favorite Christmas traditions in our home is that we watch a Christmas movie every night from December 1st to December 25th. We ALWAYS start with Elf, but the line up changes each year. My boys are 13 & 15. This year, they decided, was the last time we watch Alvin & the Chipmunks! hehe

The Santa Clause (Love 1 and 2, 3 is ok)
One Magic Christmas
A Christmas Story
Rudolph
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Charlie Brown Christmas
The Year without A Santa Claus (I love the Heat miser!)

Then some cheesy ones from the W network (I think it's your Hallmark channel)

Let it Snow with Candace Cameron Bure
The Santa Suit
The Holidaze with Cameron Diaz
 
We usually stick with Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty The Snowman, and the Polar Express (which has always been one of my favorite books so of course I love the movie!!)
 
By far my top 3 are:
White Christmas
It's a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street (the original)
 
The Grinch (old cartoon & Jim Carey both)
Rudolph (old cartoon)
Frosty (old cartoon)

In all honesty, we watch Christmas movies all year long! ;) lol
 
One of my favorites is Scrooged with Bill Murray. It's very dated now, but he is so snarky as Scrooge. I also love the animated Disney version of A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey.
This year we're adding White Christmas to our list. I don't know if I've ever seen the whole movie, so it will be fun!
 
I love White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life. Another movie I am dying to see is Holiday Inn. I have it set to record when it's on Dec 19( I think)!
I also like Disney's A Christmas Carol (the newer one with Jim Carey), Home Alone 1 & 2, and of course Christmas Vacation!
 
Kid appropriate: Polar Express or The Grinch (with Jim Carey)
Totally not safe for kids: Love Actually :D
 
My all time favorite is Miracle on 34th Street
I love that move so much!!
This year I have been watching a lot of hallmark movies on tv. They are super corny, but I have to admit... I do enjoy them :)

and all the hallmark movies...silly I know, but they keep the Christmas mood going and they are on 24-7 all of december, so matter what time I watch TV I can get in the holiday mood.
