family ancestry book

Hi Ladies,
I have a family member who is looking into making a family tree and ancestry scrapbook to print out (more than 1 copy). She does not scrapbook and I know getting her started with a program and then all the templates she would want and kits would be really costly even before she prints the books. She wants the tree image on a page where she can put in names. Is there any websites that have pre - made ancestry books, where she can drop in names and pictures? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

She would have far more flexibility using the products we offer here at Gingerscraps. but there are a few pre-made books out there. She could try https://www.mixbook.com/family-photo-books/family-history-135. I don't know about the quality, but they get pretty good reviews online.

If she changes her mind, I have it on the best of authority that you CAN scrap in Word (talk to Em and Michi) and something like the below, for example, is only a few dollars and she could print them on her own printer.

Another thing she could do is create her family tree at one of the genealogy sites and just print. Personally, I like the scrapbooking idea.

I’m always amazed that people actually know their ancestry / family trees. I’m adopted, so I don’t know anything about my biological heritage. I’m constantly stunned that people actually know their ancestry back x number of generations, when I don’t even know my immediate history (yes, I put in an application when I turned 19 to find out my family history, but that resulted in absolute nothing.)

Don't give up hope. Maybe one day your family will turn up with generations of interesting folks.
