Anyone looking forward to any new shows/returning shows? I love the new tv season (yes I'm a loser) and there are some really good looking shows coming out.

New shows I am interested in are:

The Pitch
This Is Us
Divorce (although I'm not a huge SJP fan)
The Good Place
American Housewife.

Shows returning I am looking so forward to:

Big Bang
Murdoch Mysteries
Survivor
Project Runway
Great British Bake off (which already started!)
Top Chef
Law and Order SVU (last season)
Criminal minds (although they fired Thomas Gibson and I'm sad)
Code Black

We don't have cable or satellite TV anymore, and we don't have Netflix or anything else similar, so we end up watching our favourite shows through the network websites or apps, the day after they are shown on TV, for free.

Haven't seen much about any new shows we are interested in. Returning shows we will be watching:

The Big Bang Theory
Arrow
The Flash
Agents of Shield
Gotham
Legends of Tomorrow
Supergirl

I watch The Voice, but my husband doesn't! :D

Yes, we are geeks! ;)

I am SO excited about Big Bang Theory! Can't wait! I also love Counting On, The Middle, The Goldbergs, and Last Man Standing. As far as reality TV, I am a big fan of Fixer Upper but not sure if there's a new season coming soon or not. I also love trashy mom TV like Toddlers and Tiaras because it makes me feel like a winner mother! Like watching Hoarders, it makes me feel good about my sub-par housekeeping skills. Sometimes you just have to watch trash so you can feel good about yourself LOL! I am also super excited for the Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix and dying until the next season of Stranger Things.

We're starting Stranger Things this weekend! Can't wait, I've heard such good reviews.

There is a new season of Toddlers and Tiaras on this fall. Supposed to be even more trashy!

I haven't watched Hoarders since Season 10. Is there new seasons of that too? I Loved that show.

I mostly watch the dramas like Law & Order, Criminal Minds (wonder what's up with that one this year?), Code Black, Night Shift, Hawaii Five 0, Blue Bloods. I know I am such a crime buff!! I also like Master Chef, The Voice and Amazing Race. I think I watch too much tv...but mostly in the cold winter.

Since our move, we have had no tv. It has been so nice. We just don't sit and watch tv. Sometimes we will put on a movie on dvd. There were shows that I did like and would love to keep up on, bit at the same time, eh, whatever

We mostly watch shows on Netflix, but the shows that we're waiting for new seasons of are:
The Walking Dead
The Flash
Arrow
iZombie
The Blacklist
Daredevil (Netflix)
Luke Cage (Netflix)

I'm a bit of a TV junkie myself! We don't have cable or satellite, so I watch using the major network apps on my phone and casting them to my T.V. Here's my list of "must watch" shows:

The Big Bang Theory
The Middle
Once Upon A Time
The Flash
Legends of Tomorrow
Supergirl
Jane the Virgin
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Humans

On Netflix, I'm waiting for more episodes of Fuller House, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Stranger Things, and Gilmore Girls. Those are all the ones that are produced by Netflix. I'm also waiting for the most recent season of some shows that I can't watch online to be on either Netflix or Amazon Prime. Those include the final season of Royal Pains, Warehouse 13, season 9 of Doctor Who, and season 2 of Dark Matter and iZombie (hoping it comes soon so I can get caught up before season 3 starts on The CW).

Writing all those out, I'm realizing I might have a bit of a TV watching addiction. Sheesh!

Glad to see someone else enjoys the Superhero genre! Like you, I use apps to watch TV. We don't have Netflix or Amazon Prime, though.

I have an android box so I can watch any TV show I want. I love British TV.

I started watching Rizzoli and Isles and am liking it. It's like Law and Order light meets CSI. So far it's good.

Love so many of the same shows you all have mentioned!

I think my top favorites are...

The Walking Dead! (counting down the days till it returns!)
Supernatural
Survivor
Big Brother (really summer show, but I heard a rumor that they will be making a fall season too!)
The Amazing Race
Greys Anatomy
and although I'm ashamed to admit.... The Real Housewives (I watch almost all of them too)

LOVED Stranger Things on Netflix

I'm looking forward to Dancing with the Stars to start back on Monday. Other than that...I'm pretty boring. Sometimes I watch The Voice, but do a LOT of sports watching.

I need to finish watching Gilmore Girls and Rizzoli and Isles, but I always seem to have something else going on.

I'm on episode 4 of Season 3 of Rizzoli and Isles. LOL...but I just started watching it. It gets better as the seasons go on I hear.

I waited on responding to this post until I could make my spreadsheet... yes I have to do that every year to make sure my DVR can handle all the fall shows (This harkens back to my VHS recording days when my VCR could only record one show while I watched another at the same time. I had to be VERY selective, LOL) Can you tell I have a TV problem? My husband thinks I'm crazy, but this is seriously something I look forward to every year. We watched a lot less TV last year and let several shows go by the wayside. (a few of the superhero shows, unfortunately)

I told myself I'd only pick 5 new fall shows to start, and I ended up picking like, eleven? A couple are just miniseries, like the JonBenet one (I know, I'm a terrible person) and a couple more we're just going to try out because we like the actors. I don't necessarily have high hopes for them... The Good Place (Kristen Bell) Bull (Michael Weatherly) MacGyver (George Eads) and Speechless (Minnie Driver) I'm not sure if we'll stick with any of those.

I think of all the new shows I'm really looking forward to only a couple, Timeless and Designated Survivor. I'm a sucker for time travel shows and I'm always up for a good "everyone in the government is dead except one dude, now what will we do?" story.

Looking forward to the return of lots of shows- Big Bang, Blindspot, Quantico, NCIS, Originals, Elementary, Flash, etc. And a few I want to catch up on before the new season starts. Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, Sleepy Hollow (I think that got renewed?)

Where I'm having a problem... which "problem" is a strong word, is fitting in regular DVR'ed TV in with shows I want to watch on Netflix. We've started SO many shows on Netflix only to abandon them because we were running out of room on the DVR and needed to watch those to clear out room. Which is ridiculous because we have a bajillion hours of storage on there. So for those who watch regular TV and have a streaming service, how do you balance what to watch when? Or am I the only one with this "problem"?

I have a whole list of shows to DVR this fall. It seems like it has been a while since there have been so many that I am looking forward to watching. That said, anything I like will get cancelled (I'm talking to you "Wicked City" and "The Family"), so just pray I don't like the same things as any of you!!!

OMG THE FAMILY!!! I loved that show!

I love the Big Bang Theory! I also love the teenybopper dramas (what DH calls them) on ABC family-oops... freeform now- I'm excited for the return of Switched at Birth but bummed at the suspenseful way The Fosters just ended. I watched the trashy Mistresses this summer and the finale of that left me thinking "what the heck?!"

Jen, I used to be like that too. Planning the timing on the PVR and making sure I could fit everything in. It used to be that I let DH have the TV at night and I'd record my shows and watch commercial free (fast forwarding) the next day. But then they moved shows around and it screwed me!!! Survivor, ANTM and The Middle were ALL on at the same time on the SAME NIGHT! What to do?

I started using the basement TV with our older dvr and that worked for awhile. Then, I just gave up and watched what I could.

Until....I got my android box. This little 4 inch box has changed everything. I can watch ANY SHOW at ANY TIME without commercials and if I want, I can just wait a few weeks and watch 2 or 4 episodes!!! It's really amazing and I love it.

Wed afternoon, I watched Great British Bake off, which airs on UK channel BBC1 at 8pm. I watched it at 3pm our time and live. It was awesome. I just happened to be home but usually I can watch it an hour after it airs anyway. :) I love my android box. It has saved us so much PVR worry!

I watch too many shows to even keep up with during their live season. I usually pick a handful to watch during the year as their air, and the rest I want until summertime and get the whole season to binge watch. With that said..... back the trolly up a second to Criminal Minds.... they fired Hotch!?!?!?!?!!?!?!? (I still haven't finished the last season to see Morgan make his exit and now Hotch?!?!? ).... this will probably be the year I stop watching CM. LOL

Ok so I just did my due diligence and I have compiled my list:
I cant wait to watch:
The Great Indoors
Harry Connick Jr
Animal Kingdom
The Walking Dead

Just to name a few!

I'm on episode 4 of Season 3 of Rizzoli and Isles. LOL...but I just started watching it. It gets better as the seasons go on I hear.

They are in their final Season, Rizzoli and Isles...I am bummed. I know the series is based off a book series, I may have to start reading them when it is over.

I just binge watched all of CM in about a four week period. I will be curious to see how they write off Hotch since they basically opened up a huge storyline for him in the finale. Not sure how many episodes they taped before he was let go. I will still watch. My favorite character is Spencer.

Yes, I believe they were written by Tess Gerritson. I might check them out too.

I'm now on Season 4 and it gets better, however, did they want this show to be a comedy or a drama? I can't figure it out.

ARRGH!! They moved Blindspot to WEDNESDAYS!!! ????

Okay, now with Survivor, Criminal minds, SVU, Code Black, and GBBO ALL on Weds..how am I going to fit them all in??? UGH.
