We love to buy pumpkins to cut up and bake down to puree and use that for our pumpkin pies. It's sooo much better than the canned stuff. Also, I have a great recipe for pumpkin bars with a cream cheese frosting, but I'll have to find it before I can post it, LOL.
I'm not a pumpkin (or squash at all) lover. Having grown up in Australia, we never had Thanksgiving, so I am not a fan of pumpkin pie or anything pumpkin spice favoured.
