Is there a way to subscribe to a group you are in to get notified by email of a post? I am trying to stay off of facebook except for my scrapbook committments. I just don't know how to keep an eye on groups if things are posted. TIA
 
At the top of the Facebook group right under where the group photo is, there is a button labelled "notifications". Click on that and select "all posts". You will get a notification for every post made in the group.
 
In the settings of the feed and notifications, you can make it so that only posts from pages and groups that are really interesting to you are shown to you and only the necessary notifications are received. Facebook's settings in this matter are very flexible.
